Holdren is director the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and a top adviser to the president on climate-change policy. In writings published in past years, Holdren has advocated “de-development” of the United States and redistribution of wealth both within and between nations.

In a 1973 book, Holdren said: “The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being.”

Of course he did. What do we expect from someone who leaked national security secrets to the new york times?

....that he (Rockerfeller) sometimes refers to Holdren as “walking on water.”

Perhaps, but with concerned Americans he is instead "walking on thin ice."

walk on water...

Isn't that blaspheming Obams?

All these messianic allusions are getting to be tiresome.

It's all about power and control with hyperbole to emphasize the elitism.

Buy more guns and ammo (Preferably under the table), the only way to frighten the elites. An electorate with sense, armed with a secret ballot would instill fear among the elites but too many people need some bureaucracy to make all their decisions for them.

“”Human Ecology,” a 1973 book that Holdren co-authored with Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich, called for population control, de-development of the United States, and redistribution of wealth both within and between nations. The book is also listed under “Recent publications” on Holdren’s curriculum vitae posted on the Woods Hole Web site.”

Let’s give trees legal rights

“One change in (legal) notions that would have a most salubrious effect on the quality of the environment has been proposed by law professor Christopher D. Stone in his celebrated monograph, ‘Should Trees Have Standing?’” Holdren said in a 1977 book that he co-wrote with Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich....

According to Holdren and the Ehrlichs, the notion of legal standing for inanimate objects would not be as unprecedented as it might sound. “The legal machinery and the basic legal notions needed to control pollution are already in existence,” they wrote.

“Slight changes in the legal notions and diligent application of the legal machinery are all that are necessary to induce a great reduction in pollution in the United States,” Holdren added.

There’s more:

“All of these positions are consistent with a man who began his career as a “dissident scientist.” Peter Collier remembers Holdren working by day at a national laboratory and by night writing for Ramparts, the intellectual journal of the New Left.

“Holdren has authored numerous books and journal articles with his mentors Paul and Anne Ehrlich, the infamous doomsayers who predicted overpopulation would force most of the world’s population to perish during the 1980s “great die-off.”

“Holdren has gone on to a distinguished academic career in his own right. A longtime professor at the University of California at Berkeley, Teresa Heinz Kerry used her late husband’s tax-exempt billions to endow a chair at Harvard for Ehrlich’s disciple; Holdren is now the Teresa and John Heinz Professor of Environmental Policy at the Kennedy School of Government, where his (and her) ideas influence the next generation of policymakers.

Holdren himself has a background in political “philanthropy,” serving for 14 years on John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation’s Board of Trustees, steering its grants to far-Left organizations. He also pursued the intersection of science and diplomacy by joining the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, an organization founded during the Cold War by former nuclear scientist and fellow traveler Joseph Rotblat. Pugwash hewed to the Communist Party line and was subsequently feted by Czechslovakian and Polish Communist leaders.”

A bitter parody upon reflecting on the foolish words of John D. Rockefeller IV .

"Neil Diamond Walk On Water lyrics"

He walks on water?

[an ODE to

John P. Holdren ]

Walk on water, ain't it like her
She leads the children
Ain't it right, ain't it right, ain't it right

And ain't it wond'rous,
The way she does it
Gives love and loves it
Ain't it right, ain't it right, ain't it right

Light de light, we got mornin',
Mornin' makes another day
Glory sight, got de dawnin'
Lordy, light the night away

Light de light, we got de mornin',
Mornin' makes another day
Glory sight, got de dawnin'
Lordy, light the night away

Light de light, we got mornin',
Mornin' makes another day
Glory sight, got de dawnin'
Lordy, light the night away

She walks on water,
Ah, ain't it like her
She leads the children
Ain't it right, ain't it right, ain't it right

Walk on water? It ain't like him.
He kills the children
It ain't right, it ain't tight, it ain't right.

It ain't wondrous,
The way he does it
He hates and loves it
It ain't right, it ain't tight, it ain't right.

Light the lamp, night is comin
We may not see another day
Lord of glory, God of justice,
Lord please take this man away!

Little babies, Useless Eaters
We may not see another day
Lord of glory, God of mercy
Be pleased to take us home to stay

Light the lamp, hold it higher
We may not see another day
Give glory to, the King of Heaven
You might show someone the Way

He walks on water?
It ain't like him
he kills the children
It ain't right, it ain't right, it ain't right!
