...what a dumb-ass.
How could she have made it 27 years w/o killing herself?

Why should I check it out? Find me a “winner” (your word) who didn’t die. What’s gotten you into a twist. You made a simple error.

Am I the only one whos sick to death of the word CLUNKER?Ah, but mine was a play on words.
You remember the old coal burning furnaces?
You used to get small cinders out of them but the big pieces were "clinkers" because that was the sound they made when they struck each other. "Clink"
I guess I'm dating myself.

Sorry, I don’t remember those! I’ve heard the term before, though. :)
Living here in the South, I don’t think even my older relatives had many coal furnaces! Perhaps it is a regional thing?
To: Just another Joe
Remember burning coke rather than coal? Now THAT’s old... :-)

The trial lawyers are already gathering. Who to sue? The lighter manufacturer? The gas company? The can manufacturer? The gas station owner? The car manufacturer? Bush? God?
To: KeyLargo
I wonder what the gas was going to be used for.

Old Aggie joke:
A sorority is hosting a Halloween party in SingSing on the Brazos—er, I mean, College Station.
The head Coed answers to door to a trio of Aggies, dressed in long white robes, but covered from head to toe in soot, and dragging a giant hose behind them.
“Mahh gracious! Who’re y’all s’pposed to be?!”
“Whah, Maam, we’re Three Wahs Men who’ve just come from a Far.”
