Is Hannity's radio show overrated?
Posted on 08/27/2009 7:11:07 PM PDT by Politics4US
I don't enjoy Sean's radio show. It's too predictable, and he plays the nice guy too much. Any thoughts?

I find him a bit whiney at times. Also the IPS rate his has on his show (Information/Per/Second), is on the relatively low side of things: compared to maybe a Levin or Savage. His cozying up to RINOs also turns me off at times, this voting for Satan because he has an (R) after his name business.

Sean Hannity is a fighter...I don't care if he repeats something 2 or 3 times...sometimes that's what it takes to get through thick skulls!!...I give Sean all the credit in the world for having the guts to stand up and speak out each day...Lord knows our republican leaders don't...and at least Sean's not one of these "armchair quarterbacks" dissing others from behind their computer screens...

Hannity lets Liberals spout their ridiculous talking points and seldom calls them on it. It would be so easy to ask for examples or statistics to back up what they say. But, no, he just lets it hang out there, convicting conservatives with no debate. When his guests say something startling and condemning, I often want to scream “Ask them to back it up!”.

My judgment wasn't based strictly on a sign-up date but in this case it was a large part because I'm always suspicious when someone tries to bash a good patriot.

I am annoyed by his inability to speak fluently with out repeating himself and injecting all the ‘you knows.’

I’m no huge fan either. He doesn’t usually make any fresh points or tell us anything that we don’t already know. But millions enjoy his show and he’s getting some kind of conservative message out which is good.

How on the east coast listens to conservative radio???
However.. I agree the format works and at least it better than listening to Mike Savage bitch and moan about not being able to go to London...

I actually think it's a good post. Maybe Sean will read the constructive criticism from some of his listeners and make some changes for the better...

Hannity is valuable in his own right. He most likely appeals to a younger (at least younger than me lol) audience and that’s a good thing. I agree that he seems too nice and never really cared to listen to him but...Mark Levin had him on his show the other nite and Hannity, to his credit, spoke quite eloquently about the various shows and slammed noone, but what came through loud and clear, he loves this country deeply and whether we agree with his style or not, I never will question his loyalty to the U.S.
