A woman who was snatched from a bus stop as an 11-year-old child in 1991 turned up Thursday after being held for the past 18 years in isolation in a backyard compound by a convicted sex offender who fathered two children with her, police said.
The details about her time in captivity emerged after Jaycee Lee Dugard surfaced at a police station in Northern California, nearly two decades after she vanished outside her home.
Police said Phillip Garrido, 58, held her the entire time as a virtual slave, sheltered from the outside world in tents, sheds and outbuildings in his backyard in suburban Antioch.

I pass by the Pittsburgh area many times on my way to Vallejo. What I don’t understand is I always see tennis shoes hanging on clothesline from one house to another house or the house across the street.
I stil don’t know what the hanging tennis shoes across the streets mean. One thing though, Pittsburgh, CA is a very depressed area. I guess it deserves the name.

I am continueing a black cherry and other dark fruit/V 8 juices and tylonal as needed.
If I rest (stay off the feet) as much as I can the pain and grout/inflamation is now 50% reduced.
Just getting ready to fill my bedside pitchers one water one Blueberry fusion for the night.
So it seems to be regressing.
The son has an event Friday night so that will be the big test.
If it relapses after that event I will go to urgent/ER for medication.
Sunday is the State Fair and he has had his heart set on attending the Gaither Family / Mark Lowry concert.
Our respite person is going with Sunday so if I need to sit down and rest she will be there to assist him.

Hanging is too quick. The Romans raised crucifixion to a fine art when they wanted to send a message. I am not referring to Calvary but rather the road to Capua when the Romans crucified 6000 survivors of the Spartacus revolt. Death takes days and is usually by suffocation/exposure. Unfortunately we have rules against "cruel and unusual" punishments but it would certainly be appropriate in this case for those two POS.
