Thank God for satellite TV and Netflix. I remember when the JFK story was all that could be seen for days and days....
Holey Moses.
We just got through the stomach churning 24/7 praise-a-thons for Michael Jackson.
Now we have to endure another media freak show for Fat Teddy.
I’m gonna shoot my TV. Watch me. It’s gonna happen.
I had a "THUD" moment over Damien Lewis in the remake...he was in some network show for a while, but it didn't take off.
You are correct, the media will undoubtedly go on a non-stop 24/7 binge about him. Agreed Netflix instead is preferable.
Kennedy health reform dream will be real this year - Pelosi
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vowed Wednesday to push through embattled health reform legislation this year following the death of Senator Ted Kennedy, who called the effort "the cause of my life".
I like the interplay with the cast, but could do without the gross stuff.
This week is a great time for end-of-summer cleaning. I have a sudden desire to scrub all of our toilets :)
Tonight its “Treasure of the Sierra Madre.”
I own most of the Seinfeld episodes, they are all good to watch over and over.
TV? I don’t have to watch no stinkin TV.
I hear you there.
I need to send Netflix another e-mail requesting this.
Ask me some day about my two favorite closed captioning errors.
Amen, bro/sis...but I’m sure we’ll be kept up-to-date while visiting this site...not bitching, just know it’ll happen...
Don’t forget HGTV!!!!!!! Keeps you busy! :)
I don’t waste my valuable time on teevee.
(I waste it on other things instead.)
But tell ya what, the upcoming twentyfour by seven beatification of St. Teddy the Aqueous just clinches the deal for me.
I’ll be listening to talk radio and reading FR. I want no part of the upcoming marathon.
Gee, Sordo...what are your “two favorite closed captioning errors?”
I prefer listening to radio and surfing the internet. :)
Classic tv shows like Leave it to Beaver, Bewitched, Jack Benny
Wish I could get jack benny but will watch Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillies, Hallmark, possibly TBN if there’s something worthwhile - I’ll even watch for the 100th time “Little House On The Prairie” - but, I won’t watch life of TK highlights, commentary, weepy leftists or anything of that nature.
Youtube has movies too...
And also old TV shows...
Plenty to watch...
Since there’s not much important going on on TV...
I just bought the complete set of Battlestar Galactica DVDs. I watched a few of the last episodes on SciFi and was so impressed I stopped watching and decided to watch the whole thing on DVD. So far I have watched the miniseries pilot and first episode. All I can say is DAMN! This show was good. I was going to watch a couple of episodes every sunday with the wife who also had never seen it before. Now since it is going to be TED TV 24/7, I’ll watch this instead. I can’t believe I did not watch Battlestar Galactica when it was on.
I don’t waste my time or brain cells with Netflix or television.
The one way back that had the Night to Remember guy as Jolyan ???
What was his name...
I think I remember watching that when it first came out...
My husband and I are enjoying watch the TV show (from the 70s/80) called Connections and The Day the Universe Changed.
