Saw it last weekend. He’s a lawyer and says that lawyers are very risk-averse and that he should have gone to business school instead.

He blows it anyway. At least his girlfriend (wife?) is smart and beautiful, so I don’t feel too bad for him.

Yeah, this guy must have voted for Obama. What an idiot. Yoo Hoo was NOT made when LBJ was President. I remember drinking that stuff, it came out in the late 90s. He should have walked away with the money. What a buffoon.

double-or-next-to-nothing is a bad bet and increasingly so as the stakes increase, esp. over 50k if 25k was the worst he could do.

I’m the type to go for the sure thing, but I thought it was Fresca.

“Ever since the 1920s, Yoo-hoo has been making a permanent mark in the history of soft drinks.” (from the Yoo Hoo web site)

Nice try

Yoo-Hoo came out in the 1920s, IIRC.

You're wrong. My dad is 62 and drank Yoohoo a lot when he was a kid.

...it (Yoohoo) came out in the late 90s.

Maybe you mean the late 1890s.

YooHoo has been around since the 1920's. Here's the official website to the history of YooHoo:

He came to the show with zero and left with 25,000.

I’d take it.

I guess your not a baseball fan? They should have traded
him for a case of Yoo Hoo.

Exactly. From what I’ve seen on the past shows, if you get to the $100K level, you’ve really gotten more than one can reasonably expect. I don’t think I’d consider going further, no matter what.

I wonder what that stuff was that we drank as kids in the 60s? I’m certain we drank a chocolate drink in the 60s in a bottle with Yoohoo on the label.

But it couldn’t have been Yoohoo.

Exactly, 25 grand ain’t bad for a day’s “work” (sitting on a stool hanging with Regis isn’t really work).

I remember that if it wasn’t for LBJ drinking Fresca, few people would have ever heard of it. He gave it a minor surge in popularity at the time.
