Well you don't have to get all wee wee’d up about it.

That is the meme Democrats will be sending out all week.
I happen not to believe it.

They can try, but Kennedy was a pretty scummy character, not well liked outside of Taxachussets and the beltway.

Any Republicans who dare to speak against this will be portrayed as heartless demagogues, spitting on the grave of a liberal legend. Yeah, definitely wouldn't want to be portrayed wasting good spit.

Brilliant observation, except that, outside of Massachusetts, Kennedy is deeply reviled and his passing will be celebrated. Any attempts to sympathy-ram this piece-of-shite legislation through congress will cause heads to roll....literally
Ted, hope you packed your Bermuda shorts
To: Adamnuke
Color me heartless, and incidentally already on the record as predicting the timely demise of the despicable slimeball from taxachusetts to coincide with Obamas needing something to take the heat off his agenda. Word to liberals, you can rant and whine all you want, it won't play with America any more. You'll ram through this turd of a bill against the American people. Name it after the “swimmer” if you want. And you'll pay the consequences in 2010.

I’d love to see them try it - in the most confrontational and obnoxious terms possible, of course.

The emotional capitol from the passing of Teddy the Hutt is $.03. This will do nothing to abate the anger of the voters.

Had he been in Canada he would have dies 2 years ago. It’s only due to our medicine that Kennedy was allowed to spend last week on a boat and this week to meet with his brother Obama.

I disagree. People are tired of hearing platitudes, sound bites, and emotional appeals. They want to know, from a government they don’t trust, specifically how this 1300-page monstrous legislation is going to affect their own health care. Others, like us, see it as a freedom and tax-robbing, fascist federal assault on the individual that it is.
Conjuring the memory of Ted Kennedy (who is not well-liked outside of MA anyway), just ain’t going to cut it. In fact, it may be another Wellstone moment.
To: Adamnuke
Wonder if they are going to be any waitresses invited to the funeral.
To: Adamnuke
Any Republicans who dare to speak against this will be portrayed as heartless demagogues, spitting on the grave of a liberal legend. So will the MA voters be able to conjure up some worthless piece of crap that could possibly suck more than "The Lyin' of the Senate"?
