For Town Hall Visits: Pocket Declaration & U.S. Constitution
U.S. Immigration ^ | July 4, 1776 | The Second Continental Congress

If I get to one of the town halls or other meetings in the next two weeks, I might like to have one of these in my pocket, and you might too:

Print it, trim it, staple it, read it.

"The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government. But the Constitution which at any time exists, ‘till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People is sacredly obligatory upon all."

— George Washington, 1796

I have one I got in 2002 from the Cato Institute. Includes the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution with Amendments. Fits in a shirt picket.

Pocket Constitutions (at $3 each) work really nicely when you want to bump your Amazon.com order over the $25 to get free shipping.

>>> They are also available as apps for the iPhone. <<<<

Yeah, but you have to want and have an iPhone!

Not me.

Give me a flip phone with 3MP camera and I’m happy.

To each his own.

My iPhone has these free apps on it: a flashlight, shazam to identify songs, pandora radio, a remote so I can wirelessly control my stereo and speakers inside and outside, stanza electronic books, a dictionary, a language translator, webMD, a graphing calculator, a compass, a level, the entire Bible, the Rosary and Stations of the Cross, easy relaxation ambient sounds, weight tracking apps, yoga, sky voyager to see the heavens, AAA discounts, several games, the entire works of Shakespeare, the Declaration and the Constitution and over a thousand songs. It also syncs within a minute to my computer/calendar/address books. I am never bored!
