Obama supporters typically site the birth announcements in Honolulu newspapers as a main line of attack against the “birthers,” who claim Barack Obama wasn’t born in the U.S. This line of attack is fundamentally useless when it comes to the courts and the law, but let’s examine these announcements a little closer.
Both birth announcements – from the Star Bulletin and the Honolulu advertiser – report Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama to be living at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway. Unfortunately for Obama supporters, WMD took the time to research this possibility. Turns out, in 1961 the residence was owned by someone else. University of Hawaii Professor Orland Scott Lefforge and his wife, Thelma Young, bought the property in 1958; and they didn’t move until the 70s. Meanwhile, Barack Obama, Sr. rented an apartment at 625 11th Ave. in Kaimuki.
Now, why would an honest Obama family disclose an invalid address with Obama’s birth announcements? It will be interesting to see if this revelation even phases Obama supporters who dogmatically believe that these birth announcements are indisputable proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Now I have to wonder if that email address for fishy email would be a good place to send all these inquiries about his fishy birth story?

He is holding a basketball but with the other arm. The hand does look strange, now that you mention it, but my guess is if we were to minutely go through our own pictures we would find similar peculiarities of pose.

Jr was in Indonesia till 1971 so he was at least 9 1/2 when that picture was taken.
It looks like the basketball in obama’s lap just dropped down into his knees for some reason. Why would there be two basketballs in one picture?
oh yeah..i was so focused on his weird hand that I missed it. the hand position is more like it would be around the basketball.
Wasn’t Obama was a role player off of the bench? Sort of a 6th man? Then why is he in the middle? Whatever, that picture looks phoney to me!

I have a lot more confidence in sources that know the difference between the words 'site' and 'cite.' Simple mistakes like that ruin credibility.

The thing I find interesting - apparently Pres. Obama’s half-sister, who was 100% undeniably born in Kenya, has a Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii. Just like Pres. Obama.

It’s well documented that there is no known evidence that Obama’s address at birth is accurate.
When will he release documents?

Therein lies a big part of the problem with zero and all of this. Remember, he was raised by his grandmother, allegedly in Hawaii. The timeline doesn't track with the practices at the time. In those days, airlines were extremely reluctant to allow VERY pregnant women to travel, so it makes sense that Obama mama could have been trapped in Kenya by virtue of her physical condition (i.e. incredibly pregnant!).
In addition, Airlines were extremely reluctant to allow a mother and newborn to fly, ESPECIALLY when we are talking about a trip between Hawaii and the mainland. In those days, it most likely would still have been aboard a propeller-driven aircraft, so the flight times would be much longrer than they are by today's jets.
