Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Monday, August 10, 2009 Email to a Friend ShareThisAdvertisement The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -9 (see trends).
Fifty-six percent (56%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 70% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 22% Strongly Approve and 40% Strongly Disapprove. See other recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.
I think the communists/socialists/progressives/useful idiot lieberals, are part of the 56% D-Rat strongly approve.
2010 elections cannot come soon enough for me.
BC (long form)
ALL passports
College records (grades and admission as foreign student)
Medical records
I wonder what happened to cause that sharp little jump in approval around June 19, then the quick, sharp drop the next day.
I disagree. The Strongly Approve numbers will move down slower from here on out, but the Democrats hate losers. If they really come to believe that he screwed the pooch, look out! You know how angry we conservatives got at Bush for being an incompitent loser on Domestic issues, and letting the liberals take over America? You’d better believe that a lot of Democrats could eventually hate Obama... until the 2020 convention, when he is rehabilitated as a zealous crusader for justice who was just a little too much before his time.
Carter was hated in 1984 and 1988.
You know, Barrack Obama often complains he inherited bad economic numbers from President Bush. Yeah, that may be true, but have you seen President Obama’s latest poll numbers lately?
It looks like economic numbers aren't the only bad numbers Obama has now inherited from President Bush!
Bwahahahaha!!!
Thank you. Thank you.
Statistical error? Or, I hate to say it, but the left, and far too many in the middle, love to see an angry politician waging war against his opposition. It seems “strong” to them, until it doesn’t work.
The op ed in USA today is not going to help odumbo
Obama was from the start and will always be a life sized baloon inflated with exceptionally hot and polluted air.
Outstanding! Bring him down!
Bringing him down is worthy.
But I think they are going to muscle health care thru, they have the votes and to hell with the protests.
I rfeally do,,it is going to be done and undoing it will be a hideous task.
Someone on FR said this, I heard Mark Helprin say it and I think that is the plan. And I don’t think he thinks it will cost them a thing because other emergencies will be manufactured.
One that makes the looming election in 15 months REAL interesting doesn’t it??
My hope is that three things will happen:
1. Senior citizens shift away from Dems.
2. Health care legislation, if it happens, gets pushed into late this year or early next.
3. If they do get a bill passed, it will be weak enough to undo at some future point. No government plan, continued access to private and employer provided insurance.
Not the best outcome, but much better than what we were looking at a few weeks ago.
If it does get passed, I think it is possible that it can be fought and disputed on the basis of it being unconstitutional.
As far as Obummer’s declining poll numbers, it looks like Americans all over and in all walks of life are starting to wake up to the fact that Obummer is an unmitigated disaster as president.
Approval Index down 5 points since Friday after rising most of last week.
LOL.
