Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Monday, August 10, 2009 Email to a Friend ShareThisAdvertisement The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -9 (see trends).
Fifty-six percent (56%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 70% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 22% Strongly Approve and 40% Strongly Disapprove. See other recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.

20% of those not afilliated. approve. Hmmm All he has left are communists and socialists. And only 56% of Democrats...Uh Oh.

It’s at -9, let’s not project what it will do please. I don’t want to hear the semi-suicidal wailing of people if it swings back up to -6 later this week.

Also, the overall 51% disapprove, 49% approve matches Obama’s low in this poll.

I am not surprised about Obummer’s poll numbers.
They are dropping faster than Bill Clinton’s pants.
It’s really a damn shame because Obummer had an opportunity to be a really great black president but he is tossing whatever legacy he expects to have on the wayside, wasting a great opportunity to advance America, make it a stronger country, a country we can take even greater pride in but no his far left agenda and ideology are all he cares about and it is destroying this great country of ours. And people are beginning to wake up to that fact. Obummer is not helping the economy. Instead he is dragging it down the drain by insane and excessive tax and spend policies. I never thought I would live to see the day when another president of the US would actually make Jimmy Carter’s presidency look great by comparison. Obummer replaces Carter as the nation’s worst president.
Good news but I’m still of the opinion that the “Strongly Approve” numbers are not going to fall much below 30% so any improvement is going to come from the “Strongly Disapprove” side of the equation - and there is plenty of room for growth there. I think we will be able to track the course of the Healthcare Reform Bill by watching Obama’s Rasmussen Index. If it continues to fall then I think the Public Option will die. If it holds or looks like it is trending in Obama’s direction I would be very worried about what Congress might do come September.
It appears that whenever he makes a speech or has a press conference his numbers go down. Maybe people are waking up to the fact that they voted for a pompous ignorant twit.
This guy is a destroyer and probably pathological.
I’d love to see his medical records. I’d bet dollars to donuts that he’s had mental health issues.
You’re right. He was relatively quiet last week and his numbers started creeping up. He started his rant about opposing healthcare protestors and they headed south again.
51% + 39% = 90% either disapprove or strongly disapprove? Sounds like fuzzy math, but I like it!

If you plot this out... you will see that this has been a steady decline. The more the guy talks, the worse it is for him.
Unless there is some unforseen crisis, like a major US catastrophe one concocted by Obama or not, I see his numbers to go down.
In the coming days looks for:
1. If Holder announced that he’s going after CIA operatives who allegedly tortured prisoners at GITMO the publice will be upset.
2. Continual disatisfaction with the economy
3. Townhall meeting thugs
4. More evidence coming out about lack of transparency in Obama administration.
5. Grocery store rags, (Globe, Inquirer etc) coming out with birth certificate story...
All this and more will send this guy’s numbers South.
I don’t think he’s mentally ill at all. I think if you look at his college courses and law school work... and the names of people he met during his work in the Illinois Legislature, you’ll find that he’s a radical plain and hollow.
We’re getting little bits and pieces of the man.
The presidency is an open bird cage. You can’t hide for long. YOu’re fully exposed.
Once he cracks, the dike will open and this guy will be toast.
It’s not 51+39, it’s more like 39 OUT OF the total 51. Which would actually be 39 “strongly” + 12 “disapprove” = 51. I believe
