Rally Held in St. Louis to Protest Beating of Black Conservative by Pro-ObamaCare Thugs - Video

Here is video from a rally today outside the SEIU Union Headquarters today in St. Louis, Missouri. The rally was to protest the beating of Black Conservative Kenneth Gladney who was beaten the other night outside a Rep. Russ Carnahan Health Care Town Hall Meeting. Gladney was reportedly beaten by union supporters of Carnahan wearing SEIU t-shirts.

This video shows Gladney sitting in a wheelchair while his attorney reads a statement in his behalf. The attorney said Gladney could not speak because he is taking strong pain medication and still suffering from the beating.

Obama's call out for his SEIU thugs is very telling about this presidency. If he's looking for a unique Chicago gangster legacy, he's cementing it by each of these encounters. Putting a stop to the free speech of the nation's citizens is NOT going to up his poll numbers nor endear him to those who see it firsthand on the internet, hear about it on the radio and watch it replayed on TV.

I wonder if any of Obama's highly paid and "well informed" staff have suggested that democrats (including from the top down) actually READ the healthcare bill, know its contents and be able to honestly and competently answer questions the public are seeking to know? Giving prepared responses that answer no one's questions is NOT going to inform anyone of anything. I'm not a Harvard grad, but even I know that! Failure to face your constituents makes you larger than life COWARDS. You put something before us that you cannot explain and then wonder why there is so much concern about it. Put it away and come back when you know what you're talking about and make sure there is bipartisan scrutiny of it - like you promised us you would do.

Additionally, we're in an economic meltdown and more people are unemployed than at almost any time before. How in the heck can this administration justify giving healthcare benefits to illegal aliens? By pandering to LaRaza and other activist organizations, you are outraging American citizen/taxpayers who deserve better than what you are attempting to inflict upon us at OUR EXPENSE.

Obama has three more years to get his healthcare package sold. There's more than adequate time for him to clean up Medicaid and Medicare fraud (YES - ACTUALLY HIRING UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS (other than ACORN or SEIU members and who have no connection to your campaign, donations, or your administration) TO DO THE INVESTIGATORY JOB) and make the VA a first class place for the nation's veterans and wounded to be treated before he bites off more than he can chew?

Get out of bed with the AARP (shame on them) and actually value the lives of senior citizens who have worked hard to support this nation all their lives. You democrats don't know the hornet's nest you've uncovered by your plans to treat the nation's elderly as disposable people. Until you've amended that, parents and grandparents nationwide will have no trust in any of you who sign on or support this.
