I have to wait for my husband to come back from kayaking to turn the sound on the computer. I don’t know how. Was admiring Astrud’s amazing 60s hair, though!

Very soporific, but if one were in the mood for it, I could see the appeal.

Frankly, I find it anything but soporific. As it actually was, as opposed to the mishmash made of it by those who saw a chance to ape and beat it to death, true bossa is one of the most romantic musics I've ever heard in my life. :)

I can see how it would be romantic, in the right mood. My husband is the geek of Latino music - he plays the guitar, and our son plays drums. I do the vocals, but I don’t always get the *feel*: my Middle Eastern dance teacher said I could do the steps just fine, but I might have been deaf for all I got with the music!

It was nearly as good as it’s companion volume “Everybody Poops!”

I’ve seen that. It didn’t help with toilet training.

If you really want to romance your husband one fine evening, smoke out any of these three bossa vintages.
Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto, Getz/Gilberto.
Astrud Gilberto, Beach Samba
Walter Wanderley Trio, Rain Forest

Der Prinz would get out his guitar and try to play it, and there goes romance out the window ...

Could be ... my mom’s friend Miz Joan, who recommended it, lived in Japan for ten years with the Navy.

Works for me. *\;-)

There is a whole series of them that explore the human body. Some are better then others. But for toilet training I think “Once upon a Potty” is better

I use “Threaten With Serious Bodily Harm and Offer Older Brother Large Bribe” for toilet training. It’s (ahem) privately published.

Email from Anoreth! All is fine in Seattle. She’s visited the aquarium and zoo, and observes that they think salmon are very important.
She’s working on painting the ship, and apparently on watch-standing, because she raised the flag.

Well, you could always hide his guitar, lock the room door, and make it clear this is romance time, not Guitar Hero time ;)

Computer didn’t shut down as ordered last night, and a few extra minutes before we leave, so I guess I have to wake up the thread. No kittehs though.
