DNC astro-turf mass-email received. Calling for counter protesters against actual concerned Citizens.
My MSU Professor friend sent this to me today. Received it in his email this morning. Thought it would be noteworthy to all.

> From: President Barack Obama > Date: August 5, 2009 5:15:27 PM GMT-04:00 > Subject: This is the moment > Reply-To: info@barackobama.com >
> This is the moment our movement was built for. > > For one month, the fight for health insurance reform leaves the > backrooms of Washington, D.C., and returns to communities across > America. Throughout August, members of Congress are back home, where > the hands they shake and the voices they hear will not belong to > lobbyists, but to people like you. >
> Home is where we're strongest. We didn't win last year's election > together at a committee hearing in D.C. We won it on the doorsteps and > the phone lines, at the softball games and the town meetings, and in > every part of this great country where people gather to talk about > what matters most. And if you're willing to step up once again, that's > exactly where we're going to win this historic campaign for the > guaranteed, affordable health insurance that every American deserves. >
> There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as > a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform. > They are filling the airwaves and the internet with outrageous > falsehoods to scare people into opposing change. And some people, not > surprisingly, are getting pretty nervous. So we've got to get out > there, fight lies with truth, and set the record straight. >
> That's why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of > events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your > support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you're > counting on them to act. >
> But these canvasses, town halls, and gatherings only make a difference > if you turn up to knock on doors, share your views, and show your > support. So here's what I need from you: >
> Can you sign up to attend an event near you? >
> In politics, there's a rule that says when you ask people to get > involved, always tell them it'll be easy. Well, let's be honest > here: Passing comprehensive health insurance reform will not be easy. > Every President since Harry Truman has talked about it, and the most > powerful and experienced lobbyists in Washington stand in the way. >
> But every day we don't act, Americans watch their premiums rise three > times faster than wages, small businesses and families are pushed > towards bankruptcy, and 14,000 people lose their coverage entirely. > The cost of inaction is simply too much for the people of this nation > to bear. >
> So yes, fixing this crisis will not be easy. Our opponents will attack > us every day for daring to try. It will require time, and hard work, > and there will be days when we don't know if we have anything more to > give. But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between > doing what's easy, and doing what's right. >
> This is one of those times. And moments like this are what this > movement was built for. So, are you ready? >
> Please RSVP for an event in your community to build support for health > insurance reform: >

> Let's seize this moment and win this historic victory for our economy, > our health and our families. >

The civil war begins.
Sides are being drawn. The President has come out and urged his supporters to "turn us in" if we speak out against this monstrosity health bill, while at the same time telling them to take to the streets in support of the Health Plan monstrisity.
So be it.
This is getting to a stage where we have to stand up straight. We're not like the Jews in Germany and Poland, we're not like the Russian farmers or Chinese peasants.
We know our rights, we will not be cowed into submission, and are willing to fight and die for those rights if necessary...and we are armed.
I love this country, I love the constitution and the rule of law based on it...but this is the opposite of all of that and is the fast road to tyranny unless we stand and stop it.
So, what I will do now is speak up all the louder, redouble my efforts, and challenge them straight to their marxist faces.
If they want to curtail my free speech, they are going to have to literally fight me over it.
A PETITION ON FACEBOOK FOR CONSTITUTIONAL RESTORATION
Violence will ensue.
What was it that was said at Concord?
And they will lose.
“What was it that was said at Concord”
The shot heard around the world....
This is very peculiar and inappropriate coming from a sitting President.
Alternately, they want their people to show up early enough that they take all the seats.
Sounds like Hugo Chavez or the Iranian mullahs.
The following essay, reprinted with permission, is from a 1987 book entitled, "Our Ageless Constitution."
"Although all men are born free, slavery has been the general lot of the human race. Ignorant - they have been cheated; asleep - they have been surprised; divided - the yoke has been forced upon them. But what is the lesson? ...the people ought to be enlightened, to be awakened, to be united, that after establishing a government they should watch over it.... It is universally admitted that a well-instructed people alone can be permanently free." James Madison America's Constitution is the means by which knowledgeable and free people, capable of self-government, can bind and control their elected representatives in government. In order to remain free, the Founders said, the people themselves must clearly understand the ideas and principles upon which their Constitutional government is based. Through such understanding, they will be able to prevent those in power from eroding their Constitutional protections. The Founders established schools and seminaries for the distinct purpose of instilling in youth the lessons of history and the ideas of liberty. And, in their day, they were successful. Tocqueville, eminent French jurist, traveled America and in his 1830's work, DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA, wrote:
On the frontier, he noted that "...no sort of comparison can be drawn between the pioneer and the dwelling that shelters him.... He wears the dress and speaks the language of the cities; he is acquainted with the past, curious about the future, and ready for argument about the present.... I do not think that so much intellectual activity exists in the most enlightened and populous districts of France' " He continued, "It cannot be doubted that in the United States the instruction of the people powerfully contributes to the support of the democratic republic; and such must always be the case...where the instruction which enlightens the understanding is not separated from the moral education.." Possessing a clear understanding of the failure of previous civilizations to achieve and sustain freedom for individuals, our forefathers discovered some timeless truths about human nature, the struggle for individual liberty, the human tendency toward abuse of power, and the means for curbing that tendency through Constitutional self-government. Jefferson's Bill For The More General Diffusion Of Knowledge For Virginia declared:
Education was not perceived by the Founders to be a mere process for teaching basic skills. It was much, much more. Education included the very process by which the people of America would understand and be able to preserve their liberty and secure their Creator-endowed rights. Understanding the nature and origin of their rights and the means of preserving them, the people would be capable of self government, for they would recognize any threats to liberty and "nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud." It’s absolutely crazy that they step outside of their protective bubble for just a second and can’t handle the results. They expose themselves directly to the voters and get creamed publicly over and over on their own supposed legislation. Exposed for being moron little tyrants. It was the clarity of their disdain that they fear so much.
This makes me REALLY start to question the legitimacy of our election process.
"If they will have a war, lads, let it begin here!"
We should email this to flag@whitehouse.gov
Didn’t they ask concerned citizens to report this type of behavior?
"Dont fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here." -- Captain John Parker, 1775
"Let's Roll."
. . . . What?
An alternate translation, or usage of “molon labe” is
“come get some”, meaning “bring it on”.
Home is where we’re strongest. If that were true protests wouldn’t be happening the people are telling congress you suck and your selling ue out.
Any one of your goons ends up on my doorstep and it will not be pleasant.
he should be impeached for encouraging violence against American citizens. Time to lock and load, folks!
