I’d take Diana Riggs (then) over any of the cars posted. Hands down.

I thought that is the most important contribution California made to US car collectors ... rust free cars that *lived* there.

Rush mentioned a few days ago that toughs in Europe have taken to tipping over Smart Cars and sliding them roof first into lakes, ponds and rivers ..... just for fun.

It’s an authentic antique crap-mobile.

Just put O-hole’s little seal on it and call it a day.

Yes...They have a stock of old Chevy’s. I recently saw a website with pics of some of the cars they use on a daily basis—some as taxi cabs.

There are many in the Middle East also ...still in service as taxi cabs.

Everyone is running out buying weenie mobiles so they can score $4500 in OPM (other people's money) from the government.

If I were in the market for a new car, I'd get the new Camaro--to he** with "cash for clunkers."

Yes, possibly. That and sacrificing San Fran to the disease ridden butt humpers.

I guess Oregon and Washington are also pretty good places that older cars stayed fairly rust free too.

This is not mine, but an exact duplicate thereof right down to the rally wheels, and if you will note, the wood steering wheel.

Had a lot of "irons" in my day, but this one was the sweetest (and hottest) ride of them all

More importantly, not only was this my first new car, but I picked it up at the factory in Pontiac MI, when I came back from Nam in 1967 and drove it right out the factory door

No doubt about it, one of the biggest thrills of my 65 years.

Thanks! Chevys were the only car my family drove. My first car was a 58’ Biscayne. Loved that car. Drove like the wind. Wish I still had it! Bookmarked For Fun Thread!

Georgeous, my very FAVORITE muscle car of ALL TIME! Sadly, never had the opportunity to own one, but I did enjoy owning a 1993 Firestorm Red Dodge Stealth RTTT Twin Turbo. One of only 1,200 made that year in the entire world. Seven time best of show winner. Sadly, it got caught in a 20 minute golf ball/tennis ball sized hail storm and... that was all she wrote :o( Best car I have ever owned.

A couple of months ago I came across the most wonderful 'Retro' car site. I saved and uploaded ALL 70 of the cars into Photobucket to reconstruct the page.

I went back to get the html for it as he had it nicely set up and good descriptions. It's totally gone. Apparently people were hotlinking his stuff a lot and he shut down.

A nice old Buick. My Father always liked the Buicks;

Can you imagine uploading 70 Retro cars like this? Lol Only 400 of my '57 Lincoln, that I posted, were made as they were too expensive at that time.
