Yes LJ...we have not had enough rain. We have a fire about 8 miles away from our home right now that we have been “watching “!
Going to try and sleep but OH is it hot.
JUst got word that another fire has broken out in Rancho Palos Verde and some homes are already lost!

I have had a “bug” headache and stomach upset and was not here yesterday..I just have a “hangover” today.
I must get to the store for birdseed today sometime..No ambition yet..LOL
What a cute graphic....lemon/lime slices for table tops! Looks as if someone may have made that one?? I sure like it!

Thanks, Meg, I appreciate you. Hate to hear of the bad headache and upset stomach. It makes you feel so bad I know. I sure hope there will be great improvement today but always take it easy when you don’t feel good.
You and me and our birdseed. I got two kinds at Lowe’s the other morning and a baffle for my shepherd’s hook and don’t know how to put it on. Both sons are going away for the weekend (in different directions...LOL) so if I can’t figure it out, I will have to wait.

In his classic book A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, W. Phillip Keller gives a striking picture of the care and gentleness of a shepherd. In verse 3 when David says, “He restores my soul,” he uses language every shepherd would understand.
Sheep are built in such a way that if they fall over on their side and then onto their back, it is very difficult for them to get up again. They flail their legs in the air, bleat, and cry. After a few hours on their backs, gas begins to collect in their stomachs, the stomach hardens, the air passage is cut off, and the sheep will eventually suffocate. This is referred to as a “cast down” position.
When a shepherd restores a cast down sheep, he reassures it, massages its legs to restore circulation, gently turns the sheep over, lifts it up, and holds it so it can regain its equilibrium.
What a picture of what God wants to do for us! When we are on our backs, flailing because of guilt, grief, or grudges, our loving Shepherd reassures us with His grace, lifts us up, and holds us until we’ve gained our spiritual equilibrium.
If you’ve been cast down for any reason, God is the only one who can help you get on your feet again. He will restore your confidence, joy, and strength.

Beautiful geraniums....mine were (almost) that pretty and are still looking fairly well. When I watered last night, I noticed a lot of new buds coming out and I just trim off the dead blooms. They are so hardy I think they would grow almost anywhere (except if you have critters eating them) that would make one mad...LOL!
It is pouring rain and I didn’t get the trash rolled down last night so I’m gonna pass this week. The container has lots of room! (Freepmail)
LOL..I am feeding birdseed and cat food to the raccoons so I run out sooner than normal...I should be going while it’s cool..but may wait til in the morning..Low ambition as I said..Tomorrow I will run out of seed and MUST go.
I am out of chocolate...a true emergency!
I am jealous of your rain...It did rain in some spots in my area yesterday..but not here.
Glad your flowers are performing well for you..I love red geraniums.
My last post did not show up yet...just like the other day...I will see if this comes through. I also Freepmailed someone besides the one I sent you and that didn’t go through either...not in sent mail! I will wait. Need to get busy and have breakfast...LOL!
