Beautiful dewy daisy! And I love that song “Daisy, Daisy”...I wondered where in the world you were tonight...I am getting ready to shut’er down...Enjoy your evening...you still have some left...its pushing midnight! And....

“Its five o’clock somewhere”....Lets play that tomorrow! I like that song!

The Journey Begins

Mist wet walls of the old ruin whisper tales
of ancient wars and red tinted pirate sails
Stories of bold men who ventured forth to see
if all the epic tales were as they should be

Time flowed on and the men are gone away
all too clear in the golden light of day
But, by night zephyrs hint of other things
like silken women, even jeweled golden rings

Just over the next horizon, perhaps they await
there in a ship, if you hurry and are not late
From such dreams are made, and epics scribed
at least, if the whispering winds have not lied

It’s All About The Heart
Those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart. —Matthew 15:18

Every time Susan opens her mouth, it sounds like the blare of an ambulance siren. This TV commercial uses humor to indicate that a dental problem could reveal a more serious physical ailment. So she’d better see her dentist soon!

The commercial made me think about what comes out of my mouth when I open it. Jesus said that our words come from our heart (Matt. 15:18). He offended the Pharisees when He said, “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man” (vv.11-12). They thought they were right with God because they followed strict rules, including ritual cleansing of their hands before eating and eating only “clean” foods. Jesus upset their pride.

Jesus upsets our pride too. We may think we’re godly people because we go to church regularly or pray, but then we gossip or talk about people behind their backs. James 3:9-10 says, “With [our tongue] we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men . . . . Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. . . . These things ought not to be so.”

If a siren blares from our mouth when we open it, we need to examine our heart and ask the Lord to forgive us and to help us be a blessing to others.

Lord, cleanse our hearts so what we speak
Will be reflective of Your grace;
And help us to control our tongues
So we’ll not bring on You disgrace. —Sper

Every time you speak, your mind is on parade.

Amen to that! Any seafood is ‘my cup of tea’. I have a friend or two that when we go to this great little Seafood Place, “they” order chicken strips. If I want chicken, I go where their specialty is chicken. When I go for seafood, I order the 3 combo platter with fried jumbo shrimp, fried scallops and catfish. And of course your choice of baked potato or fries, also cole slaw and delicious hushpuppies.
Are ya’ll ready to go? LOL~~~!

Hi Amy :)
Prissy Missy back to school? How's she doing? We have 2 more weeks and I'm not looking forward to the end of summer. Although this one,...maybe a little lol ;)

Oh no, you were without of Internet, and all weekend. How frustrating! I would definitely have withdrawal. Fun waiting a four hour time frame, hoping they show up any minute, isn't it /s.
