I grew up in Newton, and I still remember the humidity
in the summers. As I sit here, it is 104 degrees, but not at all unbearable.

Humidity sure does make a big difference. I remember coming down off a NH mountain and finding out it was 108; it felt hot but if it had been humid it would have felt like 125.
I just had some swordfish that couldn’t have been fresher if I’d caught it myself. Somethings make staying here worthwhile.

One thing I’ve never tired of is seafood. Heard good news on the radio while driving home from Boston today. They’ve found a huge new bed of scallops. Glad I’m full because I would have gone out for some.

"What's the latest news on the fire near your home?"It is still blazing - flames 100 feet high. Sunday, it was 650 acres (in one day). Today, we have lost 3,000 acres of beautiful wilderness to flames. Over 450 fire-fighters are fighting the blaze, which is only 10% contained.
