For those fans of the original, how does this compare?

Hard to tell from the trailer; but they have kept some fan-favorite gimmicks from the original (big white ball); and the talent involved is top-notch. I don't watch much television; but I will give this a look.

Big white ball = ‘Rover’.

I think Torchwood should an mini series event rather than a tv show. That way they can get rid of filler stories like Owen is dead..

Dittos on the Bravo.. It was good..

Does anyone know if that Doctor Who episode is repeating any time this week? I was traveling back from out of town when it aired =( and I’m still behind with Torchwood, but someone’s much younger sibling is visiting my apartment for a few days so it’ll have to wait till they’re not around...

You watch Doctor Who and Torchwood too?

Neat!

Living in Maryland I thought I would never come across another fan of either show as most people here have never heard of them. "Too British" I guess.

I can't even find any of the novelizations anywhere in Baltimore or around the Baltimore area unless I go online to a site that specializes in Sci/fi books from other countries.

Eva Myles was pregnant in real life at the filming of CoE.

I was driving up 23rd Street in Arlington a couple of weeks ago behind a car whose license plate said, “TARDIS’ and I gave him a big thumbs up. Do you watch Graham Norton? He had David Tennant on a couple of times and it was really funny.

I saw one of DT's appearances on Grahan Norton, but he was on more than once?

I only recently got BBC America.

He was on a couple of times. The one where they lured the guy into the TARDIS and moved it to the studio was the funniest. Graham Norton is a guilty pleasure. I am ALWAYS grossed out at least once, usually more than once, during his show, but I watch anyway because he is so funny, and he has really good guests. The only one I turned off because I couldn’t watch was Robin Williams, but I can’t watch him anywhere on anything. So go figure.

That’s the one I seem, the one were they lured that guy into the Tardis. It was funny! Did John Barrowman ever appear on Graham Norton’s show? John’s somewhat a character as well.

I haven’t seen him yet, but I expect it soon. He is on that “What do you do with a problem like Maria show that Graham hosts.” And that I can’t bear.

He does more than that, he was Captian Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and played the same role in Torchwood. he also sings.

I know. “Return of Captain Jack” was great. I haven’t heard him sing. Did you see the Dr. Who episode about the origins of Torchwood?

I seen the special about the beginnings of "Torchwood"

Did you see the videos of what happened at Comic-Con in San Diego with Russell T Davies, John Barrowman and David Tennant? They showed trailers of "Waters of Mars" and the last of the episodes DT will be appearing as the Tenth Doctor.

There is a lady here in Boise with TARDIS on her SUV license plate. I yelled GREAT PLATE! at her and she gave me a thumbs up.
