Man, Ed Rendell is so screwed -- literally.
I don't normally listen to Opie & Anthony looking for breaking news, but astonishingly that's what I just got. A few minutes ago, the cast of the show on Sirius XM radio were interviewing Kristin Davis -- not the one from Sex and the City, the former Manhattan Madam who spent four months in Rikers in connection with the Eliot Spitzer hooker scandal from last year. There's been quite a bit of speculation that her operation at one time serviced another high-profile governor, besides Spitzer, and up until now she's been largely quiet about just who that governor is.
Well, during the interview, she admitted that someone she called "Governor X" employed her services at least ten times during a year-and-a-half period. She apparently wrote his name down on a piece of paper and showed it to Opie and Anthony, who then proceeded to spend the next ten minutes dropping hints that a 4-year-old could've deciphered.
"What, did he pay her in coal and steel?"
"I guess he had a little filly on the side."
"Did he used to be an Eagles scout?"
The whole thing ended with show regular Jim Norton making a hysterical Freudian slip during the plugs for his upcoming gigs.
"I'll be in Pennsylvania this weekend," he said, then corrected himself to the sound of everyone's laughter.
Bottom line: power up the phony contrition machine and the media pile-on -- things are about to get interesting.

That’s CLASSIC. What’s up with these Dems who can’t keep it in their pants. Yeah I know, Mark Sanford couldn’t keep it zipped either but Ed Rendell, a woman would have to be pretty desperate for cash to sleep with him.
We would have to find out from Kristen how “fast” Eddie was. I’m assuming by the looks of him, he can’t go fast anymore LOL
Rendell is always on the Post-game Eagles show on the local comcast channel. I hope he’s publicly disgraced if it’s him just so I don’t have to listen to him every weekend this fall.
Rush hinted at this - but would not name the governor ... only that the state had a bunch of eagles in it.

I sure wanted Lynn Swann to beat this dufus during the last election. I wonder what 3rd Circuit Judge Majorie Rendell thinks about this? Are we going to have a Spitzer scene with the wax figure wife standing by her man at the press conference?

That's why they put an "X" next to his name in the first place. IF he were a Republican, there would have been "Gov. X," they would have just outed him.

Hard to see him spending $1500 a pop. He’s known all over Philly as an incredibly stingy tipper who gives waitresses a hard time. Reporter Lisa dePaolo was winding up for the knockout blow on this dirtbag when the Chandra Levy/Gary Condit scandals knocked her off the front page.
I wonder if he used state funds to pay for them (& his protection)?! /s
