At that hearing, or as a result of it, Obama and his minions tried to get a resolution passed that BOTH McCain and Obama should be accepted as “natural born citizens.” It didn’t pass, and it would have been illegal anyway since Congress can’t simply decide to do that, but it indicates that Obama knows there’s problem and he’s not qualified - and probably a lot of other Dems know it, too.

There unfortunately seems to be no legal obligation for parties to do this, or no legally required procedure, at any rate. However, I think a number of them in the top positions knew that Barry was not eligible and they would certainly be liable for fraud, I should think, could it be proved that they knew.
I’m pretty sure the Clintons knew. Remember Bill’s comment when asked about the possiblity of Obama running (some months before the campaign)? I don’t remember the exact words, but it was something to the effect of “yes, as long as he’s a citizen, that’s all he needs.”
