Yes, the pet world just gets stranger and stranger. No longer is it enough to put a bandana on your bulldog for Halloween no he must dress link a lion complete with shaggy mane. Labs must don reindeer antlers come Christmas. And now, Chihuahuas and other alien canines apparently will sport alien antennae and other ET garb.
Roswell, New Mexico, home to an annual UFO Festival has added a canine constme show to the mix. Dogs from all over come to compete while showing off their extra-terrestrial fashion sense. Meatball, [pictured] a 13-week-old Chihuahua who won second place came to Roswell from Arvada, Colorado.
"He likes dressing up," his owner Kevin Morris told the Roswell Daily Record.
First place went to a team of dogs uh, aliens, from the planet Poop-a-lot: Smeg, Lil Man, Squishy and Binkys. The Ibarras, of Roswell went so far as to turn a baby carriage into a canine spacecraft.
The Roswell UFO Festival is an annual event with conferences, workshops, film screenings, a parade, a laser-light show and, of course, a human costume contest.

Sometines I think that my dog is from another planet too.
Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a little over 60 years
ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five
aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside
Roswell, New Mexico.
This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by
the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies and organizations.
However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine
months after that historic day, the following people were born:
Albert A. Gore, Jr.
Hillary Rodham
John F. Kerry
William J. Clinton
Howard Dean
Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Charles E. Schumer
Barbara Boxer
