A lot means a piece of land. Not always - many auctions are by "lot" - meaning a batch of goods sold as a group.

I don’t think so. It’s not part of what is being addressed.

You believe this to be a grammar problem?Spelling enforcement has been delegated to the grammar nazis, because nobody else seemed interested in the job. You obviously haven't received the memo.
To: TChris
There’s also no such word as “alright.”
And a person is somewhat fat, or somewhat loud, but NOT “somewhat of a musician.” He is someTHING of an musician.

o yah well your a looser to.
But I have to agree. There is, as well, the inevitable corruption caused by an entire generation of young whippersnappers turning their thumbs spatulate through the use of texting and game controllers. How the heck are you ever gonna sharpen yer quill pen with thumbs like that? I ask you.
It is fortunate that geekdom tends not to reproduce or the human race would slowly evolve toward multiple thumbdom. And then where would we be? Do you think the intelligent yams of Altair III would accept an alliance with the Beasts With Four Thumbs? You never even considered that, did you? Huh? And what about big toes? If they're not opposable, why are they so big?
It's the metric system I tellya.

LOL!
There is always a more masterful Master Englishman, lurking about the shadows, patiently waiting his time, for that one, perfectly gratifying moment, to unleash the ultimate linguistic ambush.
Bravo!

My english is not perfect, but I hate ‘alot’, ‘your in place of you’re’ and ‘there in place of their’ and the lot. Come on, this is basic english.
