Probation? If this were a man he would have been sentenced to prison and rightfully so. Why the double standard?

Why is it that female sexual predators are not taken seriously by our justice system? I swear almost all of them get probation. It is freaking ridiculous.
Sexual predators are sexual predators, regardless of if they have breasts or a dangle. They all need to do serious time.

Why the double standard? Because the "victim" was a 17 year-old boy who probably high-fived and bragged to all his buddies about banging the hot gym teacher. I doubt he needs counseling.
And why the double standard? because men are different from women and teenage boys are different from teenage girls. That's just the way it is.

There should be a double standard because men and women are different. The law should go easier on attractive young female teachers, as it did in this case.

It is a double standard and I think that is a good thing in this case. If I was involved in something like that back in the day in high school, I certainly would not have been harmed by it. (before HS is a different story) Men are more likely to be predators. It's part of biology. Also, without going into detail, different equipment.
As far as she goes, she's not my type, but I may have a different opinion if I was 16.
