No, wait, don't start throwing white gloves at me in anger! I didn't say it--I just thought it. It's Steppin' Out magazine's Chaunce Hayden who actually put that idea on paper, and I'm merely here to share his fuming words with y'all as a public (or perhaps pubic) service. Check out Hayden's reasoning and see if you don't gag, spew, wince, and totally agree:
It's time for the voice of reason. Michael Jackson was an a-hole. There, I said it, and I'll say it again. Michael "creepy, boy-loving" Jackson was an a-hole. Got a problem with that? Too bad. I refuse to jump on the "rest in peace, we love you, Michael" bandwagon and shed tears over someone who was so f-ing despicable. How quickly the world forgets or conveniently chooses not to remember.
Allow me to quickly recap the life of this troubled superstar: Michael Jackson was a pedophile. Michael Jackson was a drug addict. Michael Jackson abused his own children both physically and emotionally. Michael Jackson was a deadbeat who owed millions in unpaid bills.
Oh yeah, and Michael Jackson could sing and dance. And now, he's dead. Boo hoo. What surprises me is how long this frail child molester was able to physically walk the earth. Let's face it; Michael, for all intent and purpose, had left the human race years ago as he morphed into one of his Thriller video characters before our very eyes. But like the "Emperor's New Clothes," the world chose to ignore the true horror of this self-mutilated beast.
For 50 years, this soft-spoken mummy moonwalked his way through life leaving a trail of victims in his wake. God knows how many brainwashed boys were befriended by the ghoulish performer with the lure of cash, toys, exotic pets and an alcohol concoction Michael cleverly called "Jesus Juice" to loosen 'em up before a night of debauchery.
Imagine your own child lying in bed next to Michael wondering why the room is spinning while a wig-wearing 5'10", 115-pound grown man in clown makeup gropes at his innocence. Yet, we cry for this animal as if Christ himself was crucified before our eyes. Please, spare me.
Someone should have put Michael out of his misery many years ago. A stake through the heart would have been more merciful than to allow this half-human/half plastic thing to slither through his backyard amusement park, hunting for his pubescent prey.
In the end, I believe Michael himself knew what he had become and made the choice to put a stop to the madness. While the word "suicide" has yet to be brought up between all the blind tears, it's my hope that Michael, in an effort to stop himself from hurting any other child, put an end to his own miserable existence.
I will not mourn the death of Michael Jackson no more than I would mourn the death of any pedophile that hunts down children for deviant pleasure...Regardless of his musical abilities.
Tonight, as I write this column, my tears go out to those children who grew up much too soon thanks to the "King of Pop."
yay! someone with balls, finally. jackson was a creep and a pervert, and, frankly, i’m glad he’s dead. hopefully allah has seen fit to provide him 72 little demon girls in Hell. (yes, i know he prefers boys, but i’m talking about hell here...)
Kick
Amen, second what you said, the “real” MJ whom I admired as a kid because he was my peer in age, ( I am 50, nearly a year behind him ) died a few short years after “Thriller”.
This is progress. The Village Voice is attacking child molesters. Actually this is very well written and right on the mark.
Agreed. I watched Thriller and Beat It for a millisecond as all channels were showing them. Just garbage. Silly line dancing and very gay rip off of West Side Story etc.
One thing missed is he owed Sony about $400 million and MJ, Sharpton, Jesse Jackson et al were extorting Sony not to foreclose on the Beatles songbook MJ owned 50% off. He played the race card to rip off Sony.
Applause and standing ovation for the writer of this piece. Finally, a true analysis of this monsters death.
I mean, his big thing was the “moonwalk”, which was invented by the mime Marcel Marceau....
If I remember, Michael Musto, the author of this piece, is a rump ranger himself—so if he’s anti-Jacko, it must be bad.
I just send a link to the article to Fox and Friends, Studio B and Special Report at Fox News.
Maybe if others do the same they will start to get the point?
there are 20 of them.
(you have to say it out loud to get it)
Oh yes.
or because dad made him a eunich?
“...I mean, his big thing was the moonwalk, which was invented by the mime Marcel Marceau....”
And all this time I thought Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin invented it.
I can’t say that I disagree with what was said. He pretty much nails it.
.......Jackson was pure genius. ......
If he was a professional genius, why was he broke?
I loved Thriller when I was a kid and it first came out. I’m still a huge Vincent Price fan and he was the reason I liked the song - plus the video was cool.
As for Jackson himself, the article has it 100% correct and I’m glad someone finally had the cajones to say it!
“If he was a professional genius, why was he broke?”
Maybe I should have said he was an artistic genious, and how do you know he was broke? Have you seen his balance
sheet? I haven’t.
I did not like the Jacksons in the 1960’s. I thought they were the soul music equivalent of bubble gum rock, and I fancied myself to be a sophisticated aficianado of soul music.
But, what Michael did in the early 1980’s was creative genius. He really broke new ground using an entirely new medium - videos. It’s easy to forget how new that medium was in the early 80’s. Also, his music was the most popular dance music in the discos of that time period. but, we were getting more than an inkling of an idea about his wierdness. It was already well known that he was taking hormones to keep his voice from changing, and his taste for young boys was well known.
The fire that burned him, for some reason, was the event that made a lot of that public. Since Richard Pryor burned himself freebasing coke at about the same time, a few racial jokes surfaced about an “Ignited Negro College Fund.”
I, for one, never spent a dime on any of his music, but, whether you like his music or not, nobody can deny his impact on pop music, except some snobs who would never admit liking pop music until three generations later, as with Elvis.
.......Have you seen his balance
sheet?........
No, but the financial distress and litigation known to exist means it is not in very good shape asset wise
Elvis was a game changer then and his music remains popular...as was The Beatles. And like the Beatles, countless covers of both their songs were done.
With MJ's disco songs - very, very few covers due to their bubble-gum throwaway quality.
And John Landis' Thriller video was interesting but it was Landis' video creativity. In addition, an interesting video does NOT equate to genius music.
Re: MJ as a homosexual, child molesting freak - it was NOT caused by the fire accident. That is the most inane comment ever posted on FR. Sheeesh, what a maroon!
“and one cannot use “disco” and genius” in the same sentence. “
Your prejudice.
“Re: MJ as a homosexual, child molesting freak - it was NOT caused by the fire accident. That is the most inane comment ever posted on FR. Sheeesh, what a maroon!”
I never said the fire caused his wierdness, only that it seemed to be the time that it became more public. and it’s spelled m o r o n.
