Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Sarah Jessica Parker disapproves of her "Sex and the City" character. The actress - who plays columnist Carrie Bradshaw for all six TV series, last year's movie and will reprise her role for next year's film - didn't agree with the raunchy antics her alter-ego and her friends got up to.

She is quoted as saying: "If the audiences had known my true feelings about some of the sexual content in 'Sex and the City,' they may have felt I wasn't the right person to be in such a series."

Sarah - who recently became the mother of twin girls, who were born via a surrogate - admitted she didn't even like drinking Carrie's famous Cosmopolitan cocktails."

She revealed: "I just don't drink, that's part of the problem. I don't like the taste of it and I don't drink to relax. It has always been that way."

Unlike her co-stars - Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - the 44-year-old star had a no-nudity clause written into her contract as she wasn't happy flashing her flesh.

She said: "I was thrilled that the others did the nude scenes so well and they looked great. But I have to deal with my own modesty."

Too late horseface. If you had morals, you would have played the part.

In real life, a woman who looks like Secretariat wouldn’t have had that many chances to get lucky....

If actors had to approve of their characters, who would play the villains? Some villains have some good traits, like Macbeth, but others have none.

I disapprove of the association between Sarah Jessica Parker and sex.

Does that make them “morally obligated” to refuse good parts in films we want to see.

If people want to be taken seriously when they express their moral beliefs, they'd better live in keeping with those morals. And that includes refusing to earn money doing anything that glamorizes the immoral behavior.

I just saw a picture in the post. I had no idea. I also had no idea it was a surrogate.

We just disagree. She is an actress, hired to play a part and gets paid for it.
