Just do a Google search for Fox News and see what you get... ABC NEWS! ! ! !

I just Googled FoxNews and it came up with a list of various Foxnews items/sites -- and no ABC News.

You “kill that link wherever you find it”? Say what?
A search for Fox News comes up with Fox News. Seriously, I think some of this “evil agent of the left” paranoia goes off the deep end a bit. Bill Gates gives more to Democratic concerns than to Republican/conservatives ones. Warren Buffet is his buddy. Oops, can’t use Bing or Live, then. Yahoo! is left leaning, can’t use that either. AOL Search, then? Nope, way too liberal. Alta Vista? Nope, that’s “powered by Yahoo.”

Just do what I do: Use Google (or any of the others), but never click on any sponsored links (e.g. Google AdSense). I search for free; they don’t get paid. Simple.

every new ff update gets more like IE
*************************************************
I’ll bet Mozilla didn’t copy the bug in IE8 where it hangs opening a site in a new tab but opens the site perfectly in a new window...

What make FF great are the add-ons. Everything from ad blockers to custom scripts that redesign websites on the fly . I use Chrome mainly for accessing my web crm tool because of the speed but if FF 3.5 is faster it may become my exclusive browser.

I downloaded it this AM when I saw the /. article about it. I’ve seen some pretty significant improvements in speed with 3.5. Shoulda been on the beta.

My favorite add-on — Tab Mix Plus — sadly doesn’t work in 3.5. Hope there’s an update soon.

They were desperately trying to release it before the end of June. Just made it, barely.

Google is no doubt part of the left media. Their CEO was just interviewed about the economy and he said in so many words that “Everything is wonderful thanks to Obama and it will get better and better.” Google is a stinker.

BTW, I was on my daughters school computer when I did the search for Foxnews. I swear to God almighty it came up with ABC NEWS. A .edu slant perhaps?

Sure does seem a lot faster, and scrolls much nicer, as well.

Oh, I’ll never go back to IE. I mock and scorn people who are still using that junk.

You guys know anything about e-mail problems at excite.com?

I have three PC’s and all of them are having problems retrieving mail. Their help site is useless and I can’t find anything on the web via Google.

Also, how would one download e-mails and contacts from a site like that to import them or read them on another e-mail client.
Thanks in advance

Looks interesting. Right now my problem is that neither my wife nor I can get our excite e-mails. To report a problem takes over 24 hours for a response.

I can’t find anything about it on the web. If other people were having problems it would show up on a forum somewhere.

I plan to switch everything over to a yahoo account because ever since excite went with their new e-mail system last year it’s been a little buggy. Now, it may take a day to get to the e-mail.

Thanks for that. I never thought of putting “2009” in the search. Duh!

The first Google result I get when searching for Fox News is www.foxnews.com, then www.foxnews.com/video, then elections.foxnews.com.

I'm using Firefox 3.5 right now and under Windows Vista Home Premium (SP2), the rendering speed is amazing--in some cases pages fully render a couple of times faster than under Firefox 3.0.11.

I never said that Google wasn’t part of the left media.
