LOS ANGELES Michael Jackson spent the last years of his life buried in debt. But the King of Pop's death is likely to yield a financial bonanza more lucrative than any comeback tour ever could, as fans snap up his music and memorabilia ...
"Quite frankly, he may be worth more dead than alive," said Jerry Reisman, general counsel for the Hit Factory, a recording studio where Jackson produced his best-selling album "Thriller."
Jackson's death at age 50 leaves a multitude of questions about a financial empire that included his own music, as well a 50 percent stake in a library that held the rights to songs by the Beatles. But Jackson reportedly had $400 million in debts, ...
This much is clear: Jackson's heirs, music labels and opportunists will probably be mining his legacy for decades to come.

The people who I have compassion for is MJ’s family. They must be absolutely devastated. Hopefully MJ is at peace.
The turtles were a nice touch :)
Do you really believe this????
He admitted himself that he slept with kids. That’s beyond dispute. The real question is what did he did when he slept with them... And furthermore, paying off a couple of kids so they wouldn’t go into court, well..., that tells you that money does have it’s advantages... doesn’t it...
So, we can go beyond the “sleeping with kids” as Michael Jackson was trying to say it’s just fine sleeping with kids... Yeah, sure...
As far as him “sleeping with the fishes” — that’s still just as funny as the dickens... quite appropriate, too..
And as far as someone dying, we all die — sooner or later — it’s no big deal... The *big deal* is not the dying part, the really big deal is one’s salvation. Now, that’s another story... and that’s totally up to the person, himself and I don’t have anything to do with it.
But, dying — no big deal, at all...
It’s like the Bible says, it’s not the first death that’s the real problem, it’s the *second death* that you have to be concerned about (and that’s the lake of fire)....
Please tell me that his abusive father is not on your list of family members that you have compassion for?? Yes, I also hope MJ is at peace at last because he led one he!! of a messed up life partly due to his father.
He came from a believing family. Don't know what his spiritual status was in the end, though. Only God knows who is saved and who isn't. Besides I wasn't brought up to speak ill of the dead.
Did you check out this news article...
Sorry Neda, We Have a Pedophile to Worship

And I’ll guarantee you, that’s not the only one..., either....
I have compassion for those family members who are mourning his death. No one asks for something like this to happen to them.
It's nice sentiment to wish someone is at peace....
...but from every indication this man was under the influence of some potent, powerful drugs 24/7!....and quite frankly, I've never heard a religious sentiment or expression out of him....
What were his spiritual fruits?.....certainly not his predilection for little boys.
But you're right....we'll all stand before God.
Well, that sure isn’t stopping the news articles from being written is it? And it sure doesn’t stop the FReepers from voicing their opinions that he was a Pedophile, either....
On ESPN’s Mike and Mike in the Morning, this morning, the talker Mike Greenberg just could not shut up about Jackson. I just sat there wondering if Mr. Love Michael Jackson Greenberg would allowed his two children to spend the night with the pedophile / child molester???
Now I’m trying to watch a baseball game and they’re talking about Jackson.
Watching the Tigers/Astros game and they’re talking about Jackson too.
I was doing errands today and almost got giddy when I heard a Beatles song coming from one of the shops!
Everywhere else it was Michael, Michael, Michael...............!
All the more reason to pray for people--even strangers--who may be living a hell on earth. What changed me from being an agnostic to a Christian was the prayers, compassion and example of other Christians. If the Almighty inspired enough people to care enough to pray for me, then why shouldn't I do the same for others. Prayer can indeed work miracles, that's all I can say. So I pray for his family, if they had faith once, that they will have it again.
Amazing the fuss over this pervert’s passing. It really shows how sick our culture is.
I was doing the same thing last night and heard someone say he “was a great role model”.
We’re screwed.
I think over half the world has been stricken by some as yet undiscovered virus that literally eats the brain.
It was on UK Times Murphy let me look for it
