I’m from Austin and he was a regular years ago on cable access. We used to turn his show on late at night and laugh at him. He’s a bit over the top to say the least. He’s a huge conspiracy nut. I find him entertaining but that’s it.

Just a few nuts who may be following the nut. I think he is just an opportunist who makes a little cash off others’ fears. I don't know how much of his own stuff even he believes.

No, not really..., unless you’re into the Bilderburgers (I’m into Build-a-burgers, instead...) and/or the Trilateral Commision and the 9/11 Truthers, and so on.... LOL...

Heck no, he is a truther (father of all truthers) nut.. The only difference between him and David Icke is his boogeymen aren’t reptilian aliens.

FYI, Alex Jones’ articles and websites (Prison Planet, InfoWars, etc) are not welcome here.

I actually like Alex Jones. FR will not allow posts from him, but a lot of his stuff is interesting and clearly not mainstream.

Kook, maybe, but he shows a lot of NWO things I had never heard of.

I have no tolerance for the stupidity of so called 911 truther...

They love to point to the Reichstag Fire but in fact they are a variation Reichstag Fire tactic in they have taken a simple truth (four planes and Al Queda did it) and lied/twisty it in to a great fake grand Neocon (read Jews) conspiracy

Alex Jones and 911 truther are the definition of useful idiot in the service of a greater evil

His recent documentary, “The Obama Deception” is worth a watch on YouTube. A lot of what he says and predicts makes you wonder about this administration. His basic premise is that all the Presidents of the last century and this one are controlled by the Bilderburgers and moving to One World Government. They are collapsing the dollar and the US Government to make it come to pass.

FYI, I used to live in Austin and catch him on radio Sunday afternoons. He is definitely out there, but he may actually get a few things right every now and then.

Just my two cents....

He comes on Sundays here is Austin. I didn't listen to him for years after he threw his lot in with the Truther movement, but I'll listen to him if he's on nowadays; he hammers Obama unlike anyone I've ever listened to.

When I worked at the State Capitol years ago, there was a gun show bill that came up in the CrimJur committee, and the rep I was working for was a member. I sat through the hearings and one of the speakers for was Nina Butts who was head of Texans Against Gun Violence, a democrat anti-gun front group. After she spoke, there were about 3 inner city kids that got up to speak in favor to the committee about how guns were ruining their neighborhoods and how we needed more gun control.

Alex Jones got up to speak against the gun bill, and said that he had actually videotaped Nina Butts paying off the the inner city kids in cash outside the hearing room just half an hour before the meeting started, and that he had it on tape and would be putting it on his website. The whole room was flabbergasted and Butts was humiliated in front of everyone. It was a cool moment. You can find it on youtube if you search for "gun payoff".

Do the Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission exist? Yes.

Are they influential on the world stage and in the U.S.? Yes.

Are they a "shadow government" secretly pulling all the strings while the POTUS and other elected officials are merely figureheads as Jones insists? No.

He's a crank who uses the legitimate fear of the wealthy and powerful to ply a trade among the weak-minded. Like all successful liars, he bases his lies on a little bit of truth from which he spins paranoia into a small industry.

Should we be wary of organizations of the wealthy and powerful like those listed above? Absolutely. But, we need to be wary of lying crackpots like Jones who attempt to turn a profit on those legitimate concerns as well as foment the kind of mass hysteria you may witness in the You Tube video posted on this thread.

He's a vicious sideshow barker with an appetite for destruction. If you push him hard enough, he'll probably tell you that George Washington was a puppet controlled by evil foreign bankers who sought the destruction of America... before it's birth.

I don’t know as much about Mr. Jones as I would like to, but the fact that he tends to piss off the Establishment has my respect. I know a lot of “conservatives” seem to think he’s nutty for one reason or another, but I myself am a little more willing to listen to what he has to say than most people, I guess. Whether I believe what he says is a different story, however.

Alex Jones is an idiotic, certifiable nutcase. And he’s not above threatening women... just ask Michelle Malkin (all you need to do is google both their names).

I recently acquired a WiFi radio, which gives me instant access to internet radio. I prefer Rush, but whenever he goes off on some boring topic like golf or cigars or football, I tune into Alex Jones. He has been covering the swine flu vaccine issue, health care “reform” and Climategate exhaustively. His one hour interview with Lord Monckton was superb. Monckton was in fine form, and Jones conducted the interview in a manner that Hannity and Levin could only hope to. In other words, he let him talk, without interruptions, without going off on some egocentric tangent.
I take the good and dismiss the paranoid ranting. No one is right all the time. But Jones is right much of the time.
