Last rites have been administered to ailing U.S. actress Farrah Fawcett, said a posting on what describes itself as "the official blog for Farrah Fawcett."
The 62-year-old "Charlie's Angels" and "The Burning Bed" actress has been battling cancer for about three years.
"Farrah is holding on and has been given last rites," said a Wednesday posting on Hitman PR's blog, which carries a heading that describes it as the "official blog for Farrah Fawcett... and Greg Lott, Farrah's business partner and friend, written by Allen S. Miller, publicist, Hitman Public Relations."

Nothing like a snide remark when someone is on their death bed.
Shows your class, or more appropriately, your lack of it.
You have ZERO class.
Being a woman, I object to men using them. If they are good enough to live with and give you children, they are good enough to have your name.
Isn't it interesting that it's MEN who object to my saying he should have married her sooner.
John 3:16 ... (b). Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life.
She pretended it was her idea so she would look like the one with the power.

It’s always nice to hear from such close confidantes of the subject of the thread, providing us with background we could get from no other source.
How long have been in Farah’s inner circle such that you are able to post with such certainty about Farah’s state of mind?
She certainly seemed to live life on her own terms as exemplified by her cutting her iconic hair. Seems that she wanted to be in control of even that and not give in to the cancer. I admire that.
"... Fawcett was forced to shave off her trademark locks due to a stronger chemo treatment (which, after some advice, she allowed Alana to film). Farrah sat in her bathroom with her stylist as large clumps of hair fell out which left her with no choice but the inevitable, shave it all off. Ultimately, she left only her bangs and even joked with one of her oncologists saying, "You weren't going to be happy till you got my hair." Unfortunately, her decline came rapidly as another experimental, 20 hour chemo, proved to be ineffective."
Godspeed Farrah.
Yep. I had the famous poster and can remember it clearly.
F.F. is a great Texan... a true icon of America and American culture.
Yes, enough about Farah dying. Let’s talk about your needs instead. Continue...
Sad news if true. Prayers for Farrah.
She’s a brave lady.
“””marriage vowels.”””””
Now THAT could become a FReeper Lore classic.
Now who lacks class? You and your buddies are making me the issue. Drop it because I will not respond again.
Wait... I thought you died over 2000 years ago, how are you posting all the way from heaven?
You never know who you’re talking to.
Ever think that maybe she didn’t want to?
I guess that’s kind of my point on an anonymous internet forum. I’m just asking for your bona fides in speaking for Farah’s state of mind.
Because, frankly, there are very, very, few people in a position to do so. And I simply am asking if you really are one of them.
Agree.
Having gone through this very thing last week with my dear boyfriend I can tell you that the man is in great pain.
Watching a loved one slip away like that is something no human can endure without feeling pain.
My prayers go out to Farrah and her entire family, be they legally joined or not.
My Richard and I never got the opportunity to marry but he’ll be in heart forever and always.
