Absolutely. This is what the elitists want - a special classification for themselves, and everyone else being perpetual serfs, with no means of advancement or betterment.

The answer will always be no. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

I thought I heard up until about three months ago that everyone was going to have the same insurance/choices as Congress (government employees). I heard this during the campaign and then after Obumbi took office. Surely there is video of him saying this someplace.

Do you think we would get the same healthcare treatment as Teddy the Swimmer, did for his brain tumor under the proposed plan? Teddy saw the top brain tumor specialist in the country when he went to Duke for his initial treatment and surgery.

Teddy's care is not cheap. For him to be pressing for a healthcare plan that would not give the same options to the rest of us stinks of the hypocrisy that wafts through the halls of Congress and the Senate. Heck, the smell is pervasive in Washington.

Obama is also unconsciously admitting that Obamacare will not be ‘the best of care’...lol!

Ah, [insert politician’s name] then you’d have no problem signing this binding contract that says if you ever do seek medical care that would be routinely denied to an average American under 0bamacare for yourself or any family member, that you will immediately step down from office and forfeit your retirement package.

Oh? You won’t sign it? Isn’t 0bamacare good enough for you and yours?

It isn’t? Then why is it good enough for the honest hard working Americans who are being forced to pay for it through their taxes?

Go to any Breast Cancer support message board and read the entries from the women in Canada to find out how your wives, mothers and daughters will be treated. Year long waits for MRI scans, denial of specific chemotherapies, etc...

Yep.

["Devinsky asked the president pointedly if he would be willing to promise that he wouldn't seek such extraordinary help for his wife or daughters if they became sick and the public plan he's proposing limited the tests or treatment they can get."]

The driving issue on the left has always been ‘population control’ or “thinning of the herd”.

Plain and simple, Reforming “health care” is just code speak for eugenics.

Orwellian nightmare. He sends his kids to private school too.

There will still be TWO AMERICAS.

It’s Obama’s world, we just live in it.

It means praise.

Please note that it's a singular, not a plural, so it takes a singular verb (kudos IS due, not kudos ARE due). The plural is kudoi.

(See, even Greek 101-102 can be of some use.)

“If one of these politicians showed up telling me my family doesn’t need certain procedures and we will solve it all with “prevention” I’d throw them out of the house.”

If this crock of baloney gets shoved down our throats, I hope that conservatives will do what they’ve done in response to government-controlled schools: Do an end run. Find other ways to get maximum, quality care. I don’t yet know what form that would take. Would it be offshore medical care we’ll have to fly to for that unapproved hip replacement? Will it be private co-ops we pay into so that we can use these alternative measures when needed?

You see, the Dems never look ahead to CONSEQUENCES. I’m sure the lawyers will be happy with all of the new cases of doctors being paid with under-the-table money handed over in the middle of the night in an operating/treatment room being illegally used to privately treat a patient.

People will be willing to risk privately paying a physician to treat an ailing family member who is at the bottom of the list—even if it involves a heavy fine or prosecution. And I bet some physicians will be willing to perform the service in the dark of night if need be.

“People need to wake up and realize that this will not exist with socialized medicine and people WILL die.”

This is a red-hot issue for me. I know we all have to die sometime, but why should we HASTEN it? I, like probably all of you, am a very tenacious person when I get passionate about something. If I or a loved one were denied a scan or other service, I would move heaven and earth to FIND A WAY. If it means finding a cheap flight to some other country with a decent facility, then I would do it. If it means paying or bartering with a physician or technician locally, then I would do THAT. I’d even consider offering myself or loved one to a medical college for trainees to practice on! My husband and I have put 4 kids through private school because we could not bring ourselves to enroll them in a public one. Very tough, but worth every penny. Likewise, I suspect many will find alternatives to this idiotic, oppressive mandate.

Yea, that should tell you about the quality of the health care plan those idiots are planning on imposing on the rest of us. They exempt themselves and their friends because the plan is not good enough for their families. Bunch of slimy bastards.
