Tennis legend Martina Navratilova is being sued for millions of pounds by a former lover who claims she was dumped without warning after nearly eight years.

Toni Layton, 56, who married the nine-times Wimbledon champion in an official wedding ceremony, is demanding a share of four multi-million dollar homes bought during their time together.

Her lawsuit extends to the 'emotional, mental and physical trauma' she suffered after being 'removed' from 52-year-old Navratilova's life a year ago.

Layton said: 'Martina has got a fight on her hands. Without any warning, my life came crashing down around me. I was kicked out on the streets with only the clothes on my back.'

She got old. Is this a sin specifically reserved for lesbians, or can everyone play?

“She used to have better taste...”

Maybe she used to taste better.

I think that’s the same chick in both photos.

She’s rich. She can date young gals, and I’m guessing that is why granny got dumped.

She used to have better taste, LMAO is that pun intended or not?

I would give a lot to be on that jury. Martina would be paying alimony for the next 25 years and this woman would become an instant millionaire.

Who gets to keep the sex toys?

So ya wants ta get married does ya? Kool. Pay to play the same as any rich man would.

Bingo.

Sat next to Martina in a restaurant in Chicago years ago. Unattractive and rude. Oozes resentment of men.

Is the young woman the Ft Worth TX doctor’s ex-wife (who I believe moved in with Martina back in the late 80’s)?

Actually Martina was broke at one point (I think).
With her gay lifestyle, she never hardly made endorsement money.
She for a time was playing all these doubles tournaments and Team Tennis FOR THE MONEY, much the same way Borg did.

Plus her probable four homes are in big negative territory value and loan wise, if so and she dumped her mate now, it might have been a shrewd financial move. More than likely Martina’s ex might get a share of the bill and debt, don’t know if there is any estate anymore of value.

This is at least the second time something like this has happened to Martina. She tried to make it look real this time, and that's likely to come back to bite her.

Ah yes, the flip side of "gay marriage" is "gay divorce".

Ah yes, the flip side of "gay marriage" is "gay divorce".

And that's the real reason why Democrats are for gay marriage. Gay divorce means a lot of money for lawyers.

I suppose this isn't the time or place for one of those "tennis without balls" jokes.
demanding a share of four multi-million dollar homes
Martina should have made her sign a pre-nip-pre-nup.

Well she wants to be in a man's world, she can pony up the alimony - just like any man would have to do if he dumped his spouse for some floozy "trophy wife."

I say split all assets 50/50 with the jilted "wife" and pay her $800,000 a year alimony in order to keep her in the style in which she has become accustomed.

Of course, while this is all being wrangled out in court, I think it's only right that the "wife" stay in the house while Martina stays in some fleabag hotel with cold pizza, warm beer and cockroaches everywhere.
