Headed for a year without a summer? 10 Jun 09 AccuWeather's Joe Bastardi expects areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast to have a "year without a summer." The last time this happened was the Tamboro eruption in 1815 followed by a year without a summer in 1816, says reader Charles Patrick. See Headed for a year without a summer?
It is all a scare game that turned out to be quite productive ever since WWII. Hang on and keep going. You seem to be smart in this arena. Understand why the battlefield exists in the first place.
The jet is very far south for summer. Good Observation.
Upper midwest here, still waiting on the thaw. The weather gurus are predicting 80 on Sunday. We’ll see. We’ve been struggling to get to 60 daytime and it’s 40’s at night It makes my me sick to my stomach when I think Mangorepig has gotten rich on his global warming scam. If cap and trade kicks in, we won’t be able to afford our home.
Good thing there’s global warming to balance it out.
That’s what it feels like here in the foothills of the CO Rockies. I’m still turning on the heat in the morning.
Radio Shack. You have questions, we have blank stares.
Yup, tonight in NW lower Mich., we have about 45 degrees with, maybe, 65 degrees tomorrow.
Phoenix hasn’t hit a 100 since last Thursday and might not reach it again until a week from Saturday.
Thank you for the compliment and please dont take offense but I am just another fool. I believe that there are only a few types:
-fools that have convinced themselves(and a few others) that they are not fools
-fools that know they are fools
-fools (well, just plain fools)
I think that covers it but after all I am just a fool
May?
Hit 30 F here last night. But we are out in the north Idaho countryside. Still - mid June?
I would like, for just one day, to relax as well as a cat does.
I think it was 1990 or so when 122 was reached at PHO. I got a t-shirt. I used to travel between Quartzsite and LV and it was brutal.
If you listen to the ag reports (doesn’t everyone?) planting was way behind schedule for wheat this year, and yields are down.
We can’t get out of here alive, enjoy what you can.
Will we still have belly buttons in heaven?
That’s Mr. Mac’s chair. No one else gets to use it. If we have company and someone occupies it, Mac sits off and glares.
That is the friend you want. :^)
This might warm us up a bit.
