I had a white cat, snowball,totally deaf, who loved to wade in the brook in front of my house. He’d just stroll through the water and munch on the grass along the edge.

I’m fostering a 5 year old dachshund... distant relative died.. spent $500 so far on him but that’s for another thread. Anyway - high energy so he walks with me - up to 3 1/2 miles the other day and we went out trying to walk between storms Tuesday and got caught in a down pore. On the way out, he minced around the puddles - on the way back we were drenched and walking through puddles which came up almost to his neck to get to the car as fast as possible. No, we didn’t run - thunder - hello.
