Tiny Jyoti Amge is already a 'mini' celebrity in her hometown of Nagpur, India.
...at just under two-foot tall the teenager is the smallest girl in the world....
Standing just one foot 11.5ins at 15-years-old, she is half the size of her two-year-old nephew.

You know, assuming they are trying to treat her just like any other student, you'd think they'd find a less ridiculous place to put her desk.
Perhaps it’s so the teacher can see her, and vice versa. She would pretty much disappear anywhere else in the room, it looks like.
She’s adorable! she seems to have a great attitude and dreams big. I find her already charismatic! Watch out Obama, you got competition.
Probably a safety precaution. She could get trampled if people didn’t know where she was.
On the other hand, maybe the teacher believes she’s a goddess.
