Talk about a scaredy cat.

A rascally rat showed a leopard who was boss at an English zoo, chomping down on the big cat's dinner literally right under her nose.

Or a big cat with a little friend who comes to keep her company and share a meal. The little rat doesn’t eat much.

I wish the zoo had gotten DNA samples from the rat. Perhaps they could have been used to grow the congressional Pubbies similarly-sized cojones.

Probably raised in a pen and does not know what live food looks like or he just has a friend (highly unlikely since cats do not have friends just future meals).

That’s one really brave mouse!
The mouse wouldn’t even be an appetizer for that cat, no wonder the cat doesn’t care :)

I was hoping for a kitty thread today! I have a flea question. We have an indoor cat. When we got him (last July), he had fleas. We treated the fleas, problem solved. A few months later (fall), kitty had fleas. He'd been to the vet so we figured he picked them up there. We treated the fleas, problem solved. This morning my husband noticed kitty has fleas. WTH?

The vet says we are bringing fleas inside to our cat. True?

They are popping out of thin air. Just put a flea collar on kitty, that will keep them away for a few months at a time. They make them scented now so that the obnoxious smell is not there. They keep my two furry buddies flea and tick free(they are allowed in the back yard for exercise daily, chances of ticks goes up when they are allowed out)

Oops, last post, “They are popping our of thin air” should read, “They are NOT popping out of thin air”. One other thing, check your carpets and check your own selves for fleas. There is a chance when you first brought the cat home the fleas got into the carpet. I had that happen once and they are hard to get rid of.

That's what I was wondering, if we've never actually gotten rid of them.

If people carry fleas inside (as the vet said), why isn't every house infested with fleas? Makes no sense to me.
