So simple - and SO good, Meg! I bought a whole beef tenderloin when it was on sale for less than half price, a few months ago.

I cut it into single serving sizes, froze all the steaks on a cookie sheet, then vacuum sealed them individually, and put them back in the freezer. They are perfect for a tender beef bowl.

Yummm - guess what I will fix for dinner tonight, too?

I love beef tenderloin..I don’t have a vacuum sealer..It would really come in handy at times for me.

Today We Celebrate

Father's Day

~Peaches And Cream Day~
Chef:"I cut them up, and since they were underripe still, I tossed them
in sugar, vanilla, Chinese cinnamon, and some Appleton Estate rum that a
Jamaican friend of ours had brought us from Jamaica. The peaches were
topped with some whipped cream sweetened with amber agave nectar."

Father's Day

It's 5 o'clock in the morning, As I rise, on Fathers Day; I wish all Fathers Could feel the way I do today. As I gaze upon my children As I gaze upon my wife, I give thanks for the grace, And blessings of my life. I give true praise For the merciful days, And then, I sigh: For Fathers who cry. Papa Bear

My husband's cousin married a former Marine who now works for United Parcel Service. They bought their four-year-old son two stuffed bears -- one in a UPS uniform and the other in Marine garb. When the boy seemed confused, his father brought out a picture of himself in full Marine dress. "See, Connor?" he explained, pointing to the photo and then to the bear. "That's Daddy."

Connor's eyes went from one to the other, and then he asked in a puzzled voice, "You used to be a bear?"
