Of course I knew you were kidding - and I hope you know I was, too!
I can no longer eat shellfish - and used to love lobster and shrimp - calamari is the closest I can get, and I must say, I do enjoy it.
I had fun joking with you today - I thought your walrus (?) was brilliant!
P.S. I thought that poached squid was about the grossest thing I have ever seen. LOL!
Good “ early “ Saturday Morning! Great news about Marissa’s ears. Summer has officially started here at our home. Kobe is off to dads for the weekend, and we have Saudia’s graduation Open House this afternoon. Then yours truly will sleep for days to recoupe!!
We had a large above the ground pool too. It finally gave way one year, the siding collapsed...giving way to thousands of gallons of water rushing right through our garage!!! Talk about a instant garage clean!LOL....ever see a 2x4 dancing down the street in a river?...we found screw drivers in our neighbor’s yard. funny now....but sure wasn’t that day...
Have a great weekend!

In 2002, Elizabeth Smart was kidnapped from her home in Utah. She lived a vagabond life in the constant presence of the couple accused of abducting her. However, 9 months after she was abducted she was found and returned home. It was the happy reunion her family had been longing for.
In the book of Revelation, John describes a vision of a new heaven and a new earth and our future reunion with the Lord (21:1-5). The context is not just geographic, but a context of life for Gods peoplea glorious reality of God and His people dwelling together for eternity.
John describes the benefits that come to Gods people when He takes up His abode in their midst. Abolished forever are the debilitating consequences of sin. In Johns vision, sorrow, death, pain, and separation are all part of the first things that are now gone. The old order gives way to the new and perfect ordera reunion of eternal blessedness. Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. . . . He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new? (Rev. 21:3,5).
One day, well rejoice over a happy reunion in heaven with our heavenly Father. We cannot imagine what a day of rejoicing that will be!
That is a beautiful picture of that butterfly, yorkie.
Thanks, Billie. I love butterfly pictures and graphics!
Thank you, Kitty! I had fun doing that one! I remember that pretty butterfly you took a photo of on the King’s Ranch recently. I loved that butterfly!
I will always keep trying of course and keep the thought that there is a light at the end of the tunnel....LOL!
It was probably photo-shopped....there were so many fat cats to choose from. I can’t tell what is real and what is fake, I just wanted something funny because of your FAT walrus!
We all know here that you’re a good Mommie! I know you must get tired. Its harder as we get older. They say thats why we love our grandchildren so much, we can love them and play with them and then send them home....LOL!
You are probably doing better than some younger folks as they are sometimes too wrapped up in their own activities!
Thanks - it was a good ‘find’. Once we decided it looked like an owl (wrapped in battenburg lace), I did a little search on it. I was amazed at the detail (under 100,000 bytes!)
I would love to have some fried Calimari. I don’t know where I could get it around here, unless Red Lobster would have it. Do you know if they have it?
I’ve got to get busy now...see you all later...sometime for Caturday! I’ve been sitting outside with my second cup this mornng. There was a gentle warm breeze and the birds were all busy eating and chirping. I wanted to just stay there all day.
Some Red Lobster Restaurants serve calamari - but not all. I would suggest calling them, or going to their web site and typing in your zip code for their local menu. (Kin I go, too?)

Thanks, yorkie! FYI Ladybugs coming up Tuesday. :)
I think we all do. Amy has a butterfly opening coming up sometime soon. :)
Yep, I would be thrilled for you to go! What time can you be here? We have a really good little seafood house here in town and they have almost everything ‘seafood’ but I don’t think they have calamari. They have clams. Clams are good if you get them right out of the fryer. If they sit too long, they get tough quickly. They are not my favorite...I seldom order clams.
I usually order a combination...catfish, jumbo fried shrimp and fried scallops and it is making my mouth water talking about it.
If it comes in a shell, I can’t eat it. So, I stay away from places that serve a lot of shellfish.
PF Chang’s has the best calamari I have ever tasted. In fact, for my birthday, some friends gave me a gift certificate for Chang’s - knowing how I love their little squids. (Now, I suppose they want me to treat them, too with the cert! LOL!)
COLLEGE DORN LIGHT SHOW!
I will have to agree that its pretty awesome!

DORM...(not dorn) I was sitting here complaining as they misspelled awesome....then I couldn’t get dorm correct. Thats what I get...LOL!
