Oooops! Forgot to address that last one! Just had to do my Military post for today and got carried away!
Billie - ya got me tagged! ROTF!!!
OK. From now on, every FRYday, I will post a "poached" dish - for you and all the 'REAL food wussies'.
Today - here is my first 'poached' dish - Poached Squid:
Enjoy! I'll be more than happy to post the recipe, if you so wish.
(((((((Hugs))))))
You read my mind, Amy! I actually thought of posting a graphic of ‘fried ice cream’ but chose chicken fried steak today, since I made it last night.
Fried Ice cream is WONDERFUL!
(LOVE that graphic - I could eat the whole thing right now - and ruin my dinner which is Beer Butt Chicken!)
Amy, that graphic and poem are ADORABLE! Thank you!
Looks like someone ‘threw up’ on that plate...LOL!
I’ll take the fried. I’ve been hungry for steak ever since I saw that picture! Getting ready for some cottage cheese here, not because I’m dieting, but because I like it with mandarin oranges.
Oh, Conor, how special you are, to honor those who gave their all for our country - our freedom!
May Spec. Jonathan C. O’Neill Rest in Peace, and may his family be comforted in the Everlasting Arms of our Lord.
Amy, that is the most PERFECT frames for that picture! I have come back to look at it so many times!!!
I have enjoyed seeing all the little kids this week - you have such good ideas!
JC, thaqt frame is the perfect (glittery) color for that beautiful butterfly graphic! Thank you!
Awwww, I love this. I miss Louie wolf. Bet he looked just like this when he was a little boy. Cute, sweet poem! :)
LOVE that graphic and frame, Meg! Thank you!
This patriotic kitty is the cutest thing!
LOL! I can see that cat’s no “REAL food wussie!” Very clever, JC!
Thanks!
I’ve been lurking.
Been a... weird week.
LOL, JC! My cookin’ follows the trends of Paula Deen. REAL food, southern style - none of that wimpy poached or steamed stuff. We have a restaurant here that only serves vegetarian dishes, and people sit outside eating, under umbrellas. To me, they all look pasty and dull-eyed; like walking zombies.
I know we have some vegetarian posters here that look REAL good - but, it’s just not for me. (And, I’m not fat at all - just a little fluffy.) LOL!
Billie’s walrus was so funny that I had to find another fat cat! I found some really FAT women but didn’t think anyone would like to see them....even though they were funny as heck!
