The incident happened near Boley in Okfuskee County.
In the video, you see OHP troopers pushing the paramedic and grabbing his neck.
The fight happened during an emergency call when a patient waiting to be taken to the local hospital was in the back of the ambulance.
Officials say OHP troopers became upset after the paramedic failed to yield while the troopers were rushing to a call of their own.
The troopers claim the paramedic assaulted one of them before the camera started rolling.
The video was shot by the patient's son. He says he continually asked the troopers to stop, so his mom could be taken to the hospital.
"We're like telling this dude. 'Man, my mom is in the back.' My step-dad was like 'man my wife is in the back, can we do this at the hospital,'" said Kenyada Davis.
The patient was finally taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol won't comment on the video while it's being reviewed by Okfuskee County prosecutors.
>Where does liberty reside today, 2009? I am searching for her but I no longer find her here.
Maybe the following describes what he’s trying to express:

Another person here says "Where is the dash cam?" There is no requirement the cops release their film, especially when a legal matter may be brewing. Just like this is the film of the perp, the cops can show what they want.
I was just trying to make the point that we don't know everything from a video made by one party. The truth will come out, it just may not be what we think or maybe even want. These cops could be real creeps, but lets just wait till the investigation is done first.
thefactor is a cop or ex cop. He shows up on every thread like this and recommends that the Police be given the benefit of the doubt as they crack heads.
Perhaps the guy shooting this footage has an angle? Maybe a few $million angles? Do you think the media is going to take the cops side?
i am a cop. cops call ambulances 'buses.'
we never say ambulance.
my problem with you is that i have qualified my posts allowing that i might not be fully informed due to my inability to watch the video and you pulled a total loser move.
>I saw a driver who was “in a hurry” who didn’t want to yield to traffic exiting from a highway (while they themselves were getting on) who then threw his car into reverse on an entrance ramp to go after a driver who flipped the bird at him.
Aren’t there Stop/Yield signs for traffic _exiting_ the highway? If that’s the case he didn’t NEED to yield.
“I have a notion that risk is a constant, it just gets transferred.”
Hmmm, that deserves some contemplation...
>Have a nice day with all your scripture quoting then throw the supposedly mentally ill guy under the bus. Typical.
Not supposed to be [typical].
James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
ummm Yes. Local news media and Police are generally in lock step. The Police depend on local media to disseminate information and media depend on the Cops for... Information.
I took that oath as well.
It has been said that those peoples that are willing to trade their liberties for security are deserving of neither. Are we the type of people that should simply acquiesce to any demand put to us? Is there any injustice which will make us say No!? Or are we already cowed and deserving of nothing but the cruellest tyranny? Are we freemen, or are we dogs?
In short, are you, the American people, worth my blood, sweat, and tears? Should any police officer, marine, soldier, or seaman give their life for you? Do you want your God-given rights, or are you willing to surrender even those enumerated in our Constitution? You tell me once, I thought that the answer was a resounding Yes! but now I am unsure. I am unconvinced that you even want what liberty you have.
I suppose that really doesnt matter what does is that I gave my word to protect and defend the Constitution. Those in authority should either lead or get out of my way.
Our ability to be free people is predicated on the willingness of citizens to fight and die for it. Constantinople fell to the Turks because nobody thought it was worth saving.
It was the TRU channel I think, either that or Cops on G4. You don't know about them because you watch MSNBC I guess.
So you made up a story about the filmed kicking, claiming that the guy on the ground had a gun and in this story you keep going after the guy that was holding the camera as though that is the big issue.
But it is typical. The American church eats it’s own. Bunch of cannibals.
I have gone to church for 30 of my 40 years so I speak from experience. Church is the ultimate opportunity to serve, not to be served. That is why I go. Not to find something for me, but to find something I can provide for others.
Perhaps not.But if the tape was helpful to the cops they'd find some way to get it out and if it wasn't the camera would likely be said to have "malfunctioned" at the scene.
No,I'm not a cop hater.I don't hate EMTs either. But there *are* cops...perhaps more than a few....who have a serious attitude problem. It looks to me as if this is such a case.
>Life IS risk.
Indeed so, when I was born I had a 50%/50% chance of survival... you don’t have to tell me.
The problem is not the Cops.
The problem is 2.77 armed government employees per 1000 with broad sweeping powers.
>Not to find something for me, but to find something I can provide for others.
That is good.
but from what i have read on this thread, even you admit the cop was pushed. and again, i have not defended this cop. i have just put forth a possible reason for the stopping of the bus.
however, 99.9% of the threads that involve cops around here are negative stories. and many of the videos posted are taken by the perps themselves or someone who is on the perps side. possible bias, no?
would you like blind allegiance to the cop-haters around here? can there be ANY descention in the ranks of FR? can anyone bring alternative theories to light? possibly someone who actually is a cop and might possess a little insight?
if so, then maybe i'm the one who can offer it. if not, i'll get started on my opus.
