>Have a nice day with all your scripture quoting then throw the supposedly mentally ill guy under the bus. Typical.
Not supposed to be [typical].
James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
But it is typical. The American church eats it’s own. Bunch of cannibals.
I have gone to church for 30 of my 40 years so I speak from experience. Church is the ultimate opportunity to serve, not to be served. That is why I go. Not to find something for me, but to find something I can provide for others.
