Has anyone had any luck finding ammo?
Cheaper than dirt still has some Wolf, American Eagle and SBR available.

PS. Having read the reviews on the site, I would stay away from the Wolf. SBR sounds good, and I’ve never had any problems with American Eagle.
Yeah. Folks like to whine about Walmart but most of their ammo is still reasonable. If not cheap, then at least reasonable compared to the competition.
I went in search of .41magnum at our local Gander Mountain.
$79.00 for a box of 50. It stayed there.

Consider stocking up on some odd calibers that are available. I just bought some .410 three inch buck shot. Even though I don’t think of the little shotgun as one of my self-defense guns it could do the job with those as each shell five pellets of 000 (36 caliber lead balls). It could be a good loaner defense gun. I also keep over a thousand 22 shorts at all times so that I can practice revolver shooting and train others. I keep a couple thousand 22 LRs around too.
If all they have is over-priced boxes and I was especially wanting .45 and .41 magnum then I would pick up the .41 cause I could use the extra brass in that caliber while waiting for a better deal on .45
It could be worse. I have two boxes of Cor-Bon 41 mag and no longer own a 41 mag pistol.

A couple months back I read the American public had bought 1.5 BILLION rounds since Obie won the nomination and enought small arms to equip several armies, about 7 million. The ammo manufactorers are in a bad position; with the dems in office demand is up but they can't afford to expand if laws change and they can no longer sell to the public...

Never had problems with Wolf...and nowadays if that is all one can get, then thats the best.
It cycles thru my Bushmaster just fine. But I wouldn’t use it in a Mini 14.

No need. I don’t own an AR 15 and wolf has never given me any problems.
