They’re catching up. Blame it on Barry and an uncertain future.
We’ve had to cut down on range time just to have some reserves.

The Winchester plant in East Alton, IL and the Remington plant in Arkansas are said to be.

That order was rescinded a few days after it was issued.

They haven’t shipped yet, but I just placed an order yesterday with www.surplusammo.com. The prices seemed fair.

Don’t wait until it is in stock. Backorder from an online source and be patient.

I’ve never bought from them, but I read good reviews on another shooting forum. They seemed to like the place. Shipping seemed reasonable also.
I’d like to find 2 or 3 folks to go in on 2000 rounds.
That way I could afford it.

Great. Never heard that part of the story.
Wonder why?
Could it have been because BO would have lost face in the process?
Kind of like Bill Klinton when he had his fellow antiwar buddy (Ambassador) buried in Arlington and had to dig him up in the middle of the night and ship his body to California?

My local gunstore has lots of ammo in some calibers, almost nothing in others. Also a lot more in target than HP rounds. What caliber(s) are you looking for?

My thoughts are that, with all the guns and ammo being sold, ‘bammy wants to stay far away from “the line in the sand” that is the gun issue.
He’ll usurp all the power in other areas that he can before crossing that line, and he’ll attempt to cross that line gradually, trying to blur it as he does.

You've got to keep at it. Unlike most of the sporting goods stores, our local WalMart (Louetta Crossing in Spring, North of Houston) hasn't marked up prices. I go in there first thing Friday morning and sometimes Sunday morning. Whatever comes in on the truck gets put on the shelves over-night. It was bare Friday but Sunday they had 72 boxes of .40 Blazer Brass. They also had .45ACP (12 boxes). The .45 sells for $14.97 a box. My local gun shop (Carter's Country) sells the same for $25. When they (Wally World) get Blazer Brass 9mm, it's $8.97 a box.
Get there early in the morning as often as is practical. The shipments trickle in through-out the week.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try.
