I love Susan Boyle's voice, and am anxious for her to record a CD. I would personally like to hear her sing songs such as: Some Enchanted Evening, Unchained Melody, The Rose, Over the Rainbow, White Cliffs of Dover, Wind Beneath My Wings, and more.
What other songs would you like to hear Susan sing?
A lot of hymn classics.
and . . .
JERUSALEM
OH COME LET US ADORE HIM.
SOME BILL GAITHER STUFF.
HOW GREAT THOU ART
BLESSED ASSURANCE
AMAZING GRACE
Anything melodious that is edifying, uplifting that she can really belt it out on.
I’d love to hear her and Guy Penrod and David Phelps together. . . . maybe throw in Sandi Patti.
yeah, a bunch of Rogers and Hammerstein . . .
YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE.
CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN
LOTS FROM SOUND OF MUSIC AND OKLAHOMA AND SOUTH PACIFIC.
I bet she could write some wonderful songs if she tried.
I agree. There were better songs that would have yielded her better results.
Sorry,
but that comes across to me as a deaf and blind statement.
I think your perceptiveness may need a tune-up.
:)
She has character and depth as a person and it comes through in her very talented voice and singing as well as in her eyes.
Her heart and her spirit come through in her singing.
That sort of quality cannot be bought nor stolen. And training cannot produce it. Training can SOMETIMES improve the expression of it.
Given that you seem to have missed the above, I’m a bit concerned that . . . you may have more . . . bleakness in your life than anyone would hope for you.
I pray your life enjoys more robustness and richness of qualities such as Susan displays so easily, so congruently, so authentically.
I guess one either gets it or they don’t, like anything else. Perhaps it is the underdog in her that we are rooting for, but millions hear something special in her voice.
(Hey, it was #1 for 10 weeks and is #7 on Billboard's All Time Top 100 list. Stop pretending it never happened.)
No one can do that as good as the great Julie London.
Actually I find her resemblance to Freddie Mercury to be uncanny.
“Great Gig In The Sky”
and I pray you get that stick removed from your ass.
Anarchy in the U.K.
How about “One Piece at a Time?”
What a lovely thought.
Do appreciate the confirmation of
‘true to form.’
