New England's first ever face transplant recipient said he was grateful to be able to start over again.
James Macki spoke out about his life-changing surgery on Thursday.
Macki said he used to hide in his hospital room, afraid for the public to see his disfigured face -- no nose, no hard pallette -- but that all changed.
