Denshay Benson, 17, is being held in lieu of bail totaling $10,000 on misdemeanor charges of assault with bodily injury and deadly conduct with a vehicle.

17-year-old high school senior was in jail Thursday night accused of assaulting the mayor of League City after an argument over a roadway incident in Clear Lake Shores overheated. Police say he punched her as he tried to leave, but his girlfriend says the mayor instigated the incident and used a racial epithet while cursing him loudly.

Denshay Benson, 17, is charged with endangering Toni Randall with his vehicle and later knocking her to the ground after she confronted him in a nearby parking lot. He was being held in lieu of bail totaling $10,000 on misdemeanor charges of assault with bodily injury and deadly conduct with a vehicle.

Big secret about our good buddy Quannel: He hides the fact that he is married to an asian woman, as that would hurt his street cred with the Af-Ams that he leeches off of.

That man is such a worthless tool, I have signs already made for the time in future our paths may intersect.

dude, you are a whackjob. it is unwise to use the word 'all' and make blanket statements.

why don't you invite this poor guy over to your house for dinner to get his side of it.

one more thing: the legal terms assault and battery vary by state. so, again, your statment is wrong depending on where you live.

Verbal provocation is not an excuse to the prosecution if you use “force” or “deadly force” in response...

I believe “humblegunner” here (in the next post after yours)makes a good point in the “detaining” issue that she made by blocking the kid from leaving...And even that is not a defense to the prosecution in an assault case...

She may be in trouble for that if it is determined that the kid tried to leave, and she at anytime tried to prevent him from leaving...That is a crime as well as the assault incurred upon her...

Regardless of the hearsay in the verbal confrontation and words used by both parties...And I can guarantee you that the kid was not silent in this case, I would have had a hard time keeping my mouth shut as well...But that is just me...

By not getting in others faces is a wise thing to have as a core value...But that doesn’t mean you have to retreat from a confrontation either...If you have a Texas CHL, you will know the law regarding that issue...

And since there is a chance that our illustrious racial pimp Quannel X is waiting in the wings on this one, I would venture a theory that the Houston Chronicle is yet again fertilizing the public (who reads that birdcage liner) into a frenzy again, just to sell papers...

So I can tell you this, anything you read in the paper (especially this one) is NOT evidence in a court of law...Period...

And you are absolutely correct when you say it takes two to tango...I will absolutely agree with you there...

Both sides apparently have practiced poor judgement in this case...

Besides...Like I said before...That area of 2094 where this took place is a nice wide two lane throughfare and the kid could have passed with little effort and danger to anyone involved...That would be something I would bring up in court to illicite an attitude response from the defendent (kid)...

I would very much like to see how this one turns out...I am more concerned about Quannel X getting into this fracus and stirring up what doesn’t need to be stirred up...

“dude, you are a whackjob. it is unwise to use the word ‘all’ and make blanket statements.”

How is it “unwise”? It’s done ALL the time....

“why don’t you invite this poor guy over to your house for dinner to get his side of it.”

We have “his” side of it, plus a witness as well.
;... She refused to comment on using a racial slur according to the article.

And what’s with the “Dude” word? Are you a kid?

You know it is kinda funny, I have had my run0ins with “QX” in the past, and if you remember the Joe Horn incident a while back...I had attended a nieghborhood rally where he (QX) brought his thugs to the same place and stirred up some stuff...

I was off to the side and QX saw me and kept trucking up the street...I told Joe Horns’ lawyer and a nieghbor that they need to file an injunction to ban ALL parties from demonstrating in this nieghborhood on this issue...They took that idea to court the next day...

Pretty quiet since then...

And it makes you wonder where Joe Horn is today, huh???

Quannel’s wife is not all that bad from what I hear, she likes her home over there across from where my Sistes and BIL live...Sometimes I wonder how he affords that place...But that is another discussion altogether...

This perp better find a new place to live. Mayor Toni is well liked by the residents of League City, Kemah and surrounding areas, not to mention the various law enforcement officers protecting them. They will have to change the venue of his trial to Texas City or Galveston for him to even have a chance of a “fair” trial.

If this kid is still in a local high school, he might find his senior year rather difficult as well.

Don’t feed the troll. Obviously “babygene” is just being disagreeable to be disagreeable and has no clue about this case or the people involved other than what he read in this Comical article. Us locals know to discount the Comical’s slanted view of the world, as well as knowing Mayor Toni.

That said, I also know that as small and slight as she is, she is a pitbull, who will stand up to anyone. She may have overplayed her hand with this slimball, who’s parents spoiled him and never taught him to respect others. He better hope that daddy’s got a whole lot more money, as a good share of it is soon going to belong to Galveston County and Mayor Toni.

In the adult portion of my 63 years, I’ve never felt the need to punch anyone. I haven’t given anyone a reason to punch me either... People who treat others with respect usually don’t get punched.

a very wise man once said, "it's every man's God given right to be an a$$hole. some people just abuse the privilege."

another wise man said, "there are a lot of reasons to hit a woman. just don't do it!"

If the “slanted view” is included in a post on a non-local site such as this, wouldn’t you expect people to read it?

I bet she keeps that mouth shut next time.

“Don’t talk to the Don like that”
“But I’m right”
“Yeah but you’ll be right with two broken legs”

"...and if you remember the Joe Horn incident a while back..."

I do, indeed, remember the Joe Horn incident. It made me proud to live in Texas. I lived vicariously through the many YouTube videos that people posted afterwards. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing there were others who also had their heads screwed on straight. When I saw the images of Q and his thugs literally being run out of town I thanked God that he sent me to live in Texas and got me out of California.

I have an acquaintance who lives in the same gated community as Quannel's mother. He was planning on having a housewarming party. Quannels people contacted him and offered to provide "security" for the event. Since my friend is a retard, he agreed without a second thought. Turns out they wanted to control access to Q's momma. They did not give a darn about actual security.

Anyway, if you ever hear of him making an appearance, drop me a line. I would love to harass him, within the bounds of the law, of course.

“She kept telling him, ‘Hit me, hit me. You think you’re cool with those little things in your hair,’

Then...

“She started yelling, ‘Call the police! Call the police!’

She got what she asked for and then cried about it.

Her mouth wrote a check her arse could not cash.

She would do well to keep the mouth shut in the future.

Only pop off to people who you have a reasonable chance of beating up.

I think Toni was counting on the cops showing up a little sooner and the punk not acting as impulsively. A bluff only works as long as the other guy isn’t either smart enough to see through it or dumb enough to not care.

You know QX is quite a stout fellow...When he saw “Snowball” (big biker dude) standing between him and Joe Horns house, I was standing next to one of Pasadena’s finest and we both thought, “Oh Crap” here we go...

Both masses met in the street and bumoed chests...I believe Snowball had the mass, but it was funny to watch the expression on QX’s face when he got “stopped”...

He is such a goober, we all kinda laughed at the meeting of the minds...And it proved yet again how surface QX and his thugs are...

Bottom line is, QX should probably sit this one out...Regardless of the alleged name calling and subsequent assault and or detainment allegations...

I’ll give you a holler if I hear anything develop...
