DAYTON, Ohio—A mom was in court Monday after she was accused of having sex in her car while her children watched from the backseat.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Authorities said they found 24-year-old Danica Wallace engaged in sexual activity with a man in the front seat.

Wallace was charged with two counts of endangering children and public indecency.

She reportedly told police she pulled over to have sex because they could not have sex at a friend’s house.

Wallace told a different story in court and pleaded not guilty Monday.

“I had spilled beer on my pants, and when I went to change my pants, the police pulled up and said I was engaged in sex in the seat,” Wallace said in court. “I was not engaged in any sex while my kids were in the backseat.”

Wallace’s 3-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter were in the back seat.

She failed a field-sobriety test, according to police.

Police said officers found open beer bottles and marijuana residue in the car.

(sometimes up to 5 years old others put them out at a younger age. The thinking was that they would be exposed to a natural loving behavior. That they would learn closeness and how things “should” be. The children’s beds were in the room but sometimes they let them lay at the foot of the bed. Even though my husband and I did not practice that behavior, people were developing a concept of openness. During those years alot of people experimented with different thoughts and behaviors. My kids, dispite my efforts at giving them confidence, had some difficulty with self esteem, while the others all have important high paying careers,very close families, no divorce, and little to know physical illness. For myself, from the experience of being around the free thinking people, I learned to have an open mind and to tell the difference between genuine sexual abuse and people obscessed with the idea of sexual abuse. After reading your comments I realize you are trying, in you own mind, to make this something dirty and repulsive but it was not that at all. There was no involvement with the children, they were simply allowed to see it as a natural expression of love. It seems you may be like alot of people these days trying to make anything that involves sex dirty, unnatural and abusive to someone. Like the news media headlining this unfortunate incident as a sex issue. While I don’t think this woman showed good judgement in the choice of location, I doubt the children even had a clue what was going on. Now the alcohol and pot are a different issue, illegal and harmful to all involved. That should have been the issue, she and her friend were drinking, driving and smoking pot with the children in the car."
