What's With Calling 911?
Entitlement Syndrome ^ | May 19, 2009 | bigkahuna

This story in the May 17th Cleveland.com edition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer tells the sad tale of a man who called the local 911 emergency line when his 28 YEAR OLD son — who lives with his parents and is a Bedford, Ohio school board member — refused to clean his room.

According to reports, Andrew Mizsak (pictured above) — upon being told by his 63-year old father to straighten up his pig sty of a room — threw his plate of food across the kitchen and “balled up his fist at his dad.” Also according to this news story, Andrew (named after his father, who made the 911 call)…”was crying uncontrollably and stated he would comply.” We suppose it was brave on the part of Mizsak’s father to have ordered his son around. Andrew the junior weighs in at a pork-tastic 270lbs.

It’s pretty simple. People have been groomed to look to the state as the solution to all their problems.

I think it's part of BO's new Mommy state. When you encounter one of life's problems, call the government.

Simple solution, the operator should reply: “Yes, we’ll send an officer to your home immediatly. Whe the officer arrives he will arrest you for using 911 for non-emergency purposes. Is there anything else we can do for you?”

You mean like that dimwit in Florida who called 911 when a McDonald’s ran out of McNuggets? (I think it was McDonald’s, anyway).

That may happen on occasion, but the state desires dependent people...Calling 911 will eventually be lauded as an important choice in conflict resolution. A state mediator will respond to help people find that common ground the fresh prince of Bill Ayers spoke about at Notre Dame.

No problem is too big (or too little) for the Federal Government.

So a 28 year old Democrat is still living in mom and dad’s basement. What a TOTAL loser!

I think it’s OK to call 911 if someone throws something at you. But I’m glad the dad didn’t press charges. A DV conviction will really mess a person up and I’m not sure the situation called for that.

The man didn’t like the threats from his 28 yo loser son. The brat threw a plate at his dad and balled up a fist when he refused to CLEAN HIS ROOM. LOL..He also doesn’t pay any rent......Of course he’s a Democrat!

There was a 911 audio clip making the radio rounds several weeks ago.

The female caller was very upset because THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH SHRIMP IN HER FRIED RICE!

Here it is:

Additionally, when you don’t have shit to speak of, there’s no repercussions re: seizing assets. As for jail time, they’ve already learned about over-crowded jails, lenient bail and just plain not showing up for court....most of the dweebs involved in these 911 calls are either like this or just plain imbeciles who can’t think past the next ‘forty’ and a pack of Newports (oh! and a lotto tickete).

I don’t see what’s wrong with this guy calling 911. His large adult son was in a rage, throwing things and threatening to do violence directly to his father. What’s his father supposed to do? Leave the house to go get help, while his son continues to trash the place? Stay put and try to fend off the huge son? It’s not like the son was going to leave if the father just asked him too. Hopefully the father will have the sense now to stop trying to “help” his wayward son, but he had every right to call 911 when he had someone in his house doing property damage and threatening assault.

That’s what I’m thinking. Especially if this behavior is out of character for the son. A sudden explosion of violence could be very scary to those nearby.

They took her money knowing they were out of mcnuggets then wouldn’t give it back.
I woulda been pissed to.
If it happened to me the cops would have come, but not from me, from them after i started tearing the place apart! lol

When you encounter one of life's problems, call the government.

And for those who cannot cope, and call 911 for something stupid, there should be a high charge payable upon arrival of the officer. Nothing from the government is free, after all, and the taxpayers are tired of footing the bills for these people.
