COPS are investigating a chimp after it tried to RAPE a female zoo keeper.
Terrified Valentina Kirilova had to fight off the sex-crazed primate when he grabbed her as she gave him a banana at Rostov Zoo in Russia.
Horrified
Valentina said of the attack: I have spent a lot of time around the primates but Id never imagined that a lonely chimpanzee could see me as a sex object.
The lusty ape, called Otello, broke the horrified keepers wrist as he pulled her into his cage and began to attack her.
When I tried to pass a banana to him, the chimpanzee grabbed my hand and pulled me into the cage and tried to rape me, said Valentina.
She was only saved when her screams brought other keepers running, who pulled the furious chimp off her.
Doctors treated Valentina for shock.
Now police are to quiz zoo staff about how the attack happened.
One keeper said: Its a serious matter. If that had been a member of the public we would all be in court by now.
I don’t think so....
What’s the chimp’s side of the story?
She gave him a banana.
The old “passing the banana” story, eh?
Oh, the jokes that are going to come from this one. I regret her wrist was broken, but she probably expected stuff like that along the way as a zookeeper. But attempted rape by a chimp? Bonzo would be ashamed.
oookk! oookk! (call me...)
Lesson, never play with a chimp’s banana.....
I can sympathize with the chimp's motivation ... but perhaps flowers and chocolates would have been a more effective approach.
Valentina is now suffering from depression
“He hasn’t written or called, he hasn’t sent flowers...”
At the right time of the month, yes....
I have seen a primate get “excited” when he spotted a female on our bus going thru a safari-type zoo in Majorca.
LOL, you beat me to it.
he’s so guilty.
Once chimps reach puberty they can be very dangerous. People too often see them as being almost human, and forget that they are large, extremely strong animals.
Reminds me of the joke that ends with the Doberman Pinscher saying, "Nope. I'm just here to get my toenails clipped!"
Not trying to be joking, I wonder if it was the female zookeepers’ time of the month. Animals pick up on pheromones and menses and stuff like that.
Apes are nasty anyway.
