Joe the Plumber: I don't want my queer friends near my children

''At a state level, it's up to them. I don't want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it's wrong.... Queer means strange and unusual. It's not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that.... I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they're people, and they're going to do their thing.''

Samuel Wurzelbacher, a/k/a Joe the Plumber, explaining to Chrsitianity Today what conservatism is, and what he thinks of gay marriage. Wurzelbacher became a sensation in the Republican party in 2008 when he confronted presidential candidate Obama on his proposed tax policy, but it was soon revealed that none of Wurzelbacher's allegations held up under the light. Yet he continues to enjoy a low level of celebrity as a spokesperson for the common man of the right wing. (Christianity Today)

Huh? IS CT in the tank for Opossum?

He called Obama's policies "socialism". Even Opossum's wholly-owned Newsweak said the policies were socialist.

Well when does the Mitt Romney Travelling Road Show sign him up? </sarcasm>

I don’t want my Democrat friends near my Children.
Does that make me a Demeophobe ? Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of a happy Dem free life is allowed.

“Wait. That sound queer.”

Only if there was intent.

He’s right, but just get ready for the MSM smear machine to get their hands on this story and plaster it all over the evening news for the next week and a half. Not gonna be pretty.

I don’t want anyone spending the night in a tent with my kids who MIGHT be sexually attracted to my kids.

This is why I opposed Gay Boy Scout Leaders.

Interesting that the Boy Scouts got sued by Gays.

The Catholic Church, sadly, got sued by victims of Gay Sexual Predators.

Or MSNBC talk show hosts. I think Joe the Plumber gave Obermann and the lesbian that follows him something to mock tonight.

Boy, oh boy.

If good ol’ Joe thought he had it rough before, now the flaming bundles of sticks are going to be after him now!

The only part that confuses me is that he refers to these people as his friends. Anyone I wouldn’t trust around my children, isn’t a person I’d call friend.

1.) The National Association for the Advancement of *Colored People*.
2.) `We’re here, we’re *queer*—get used to it!’
3.) “Don’t call us latinos or chicanos—call us *Mexicans*.”

But *you* dasn’t try using any one of those terms!

Meanwhile, I’m happy with anyone who will admit to chewing Copenhagen while bathing or showering.
(That reminds me, send FR some money Bubba!)
